Title: David's Prayer and Praise

Main text: (Psalm 109:26-31)

Praise: Chapter 354. one who longs for the Lord

Date: June 18, 2011 (Sat) 5 am

Venue: Jeonju Yebut Church Small Worship Room

David did not give up when he was in a desperate situation. He actively approached God without complaining or complaining. They prayed to God, fasted, and praised God. In the end, David overcomes despair and praises God. Let's examine his supplication and praise together.

1. David praying earnestly (verses 26-27)

David earnestly prayed to God to deliver him from the slander and persecution of his enemies. He believed and prayed that only God could help him. He prayed that the curses of the enemies would be turned into blessings, and that they would be put to shame. He also prayed that God would completely deliver Himself from the persecution of the enemy so that the enemies would realize the love of God who protects and protects His people.

Today, when the saints are persecuted and ridiculed by the wicked, the reason why we can have hope without becoming discouraged is because God is with us. On the Day of Judgment, God will lead the wicked to eternal punishment and the righteous to eternal life. Pray earnestly to God when you are suffering. God will not turn away from our prayers and will answer them with joy.

2. David with confidence (verses 28-29)

David appeals to God to turn the curses, slander, and ridicule he received from the wicked into blessings. When receiving a curse from his enemies, he did not fall into despair, but instead took a positive and active response to sublimate the curse into a blessing. Here we can see the faith of David, who is sure of victory by relying on God in the midst of tribulation and persecution. Like David, if we pray with the assurance of victory in the midst of suffering, the faithful God will help us in the best way and overcome all difficulties. Also, when we are persecuted, we should not give up our faith and complain, but instead look to God who works through suffering. At that time, curses and slanders toward us will be transformed into blessings.

3. David praises (verses 30-31)

After praying, David is confident that God will save him and raises the praise of victory. God does not turn away from those who come to Him in prayer with a humble heart, and He saves them. David praises God as the one who stands at the right hand of the needy, protects and saves. We must trust and praise God in the midst of any tribulation, confident that God will save His chosen people. Praise is a confession of faith that is sure of God's answer. Have you asked God? Now praise God for His faithfulness, His greatness, His love. Our praise will make the world fear God.

Believers should pray to God when they are in desperate circumstances. We must entrust our problems to God, who is greater than any circumstances or circumstances. And it should be praised. God will be at our right hand to protect and keep us.

<Prayer>

1. Let us look and depend on God in any circumstances!

2. Give the Word workers more inspiration and help them prepare well for worship!

3. Heal the weak patients and lead them to the place of worship!
