Hymns: 539. you go quietly to jesus

Venue: Jeonju Yebut Church Small Worship Room
The text is called the 'Song of Psalms'. Just as in the Song of Songs, the relationship between Christ and the church was described as beautiful love between a man and a woman through Solomon and the Shulammite woman, in the text, God is praised as king and the relationship between the Lord and us is expressed as the daughters of kings and kings. Who are you singing to God?
1. God is the eternal King (verses 1-2).
God is our King. Those who have received grace confess God as their King, but those who have not received grace cannot confess God as their King.
(Text verses 3-5) says, “Courageous King, put your sword around your waist and show your majesty and glory. For truth, for justice, get on the chariot and win glorious victory. The king's right hand will wield terrifying power. The king's arrows are sharp and pierce the hearts of their enemies, and all nations fall at your feet."
Armed with the truth, God has the dignity of a king to subdue his enemies. Only God destroys the enemy and becomes the eternal victor.
2. God is fair (verse 6).
The king of the world is not fair, but God does not lean either to the left or the right, but to rule fairly. God is without injustice, and He is a God of justice who always judges fairly and thoroughly.
Therefore, when we judge something, if we follow the Bible, we will have peace. However, if you are biased, you will not have peace of mind. Problems arise when we are biased as human beings. Humans cannot be as fair as God, but we must try our best while praying in faith.
3. God blesses those who come close to him (verse 7).
It is a prophecy of the Messiah who will be our King. Jesus loved righteousness and hated injustice, serving God as we do. God made this Jesus higher than any other king on this earth.
In verse 8, it says, “All the robes the king wears exudes the fragrance of myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon, and the sound of stringed instruments from the ivory palace rejoices the king.” The Lord has every fragrance that pleases us. So, when we draw near to the Lord, we also smell. People smell bad and smell good depending on who they are with.
(9-10) “Among the women whom the king esteemed, there were daughters of many kings, and the queen standing at the king’s right was adorned with the gold of Ophir. Queen! Listen, think, and listen. Forget the empress’s people and your father’s house.” The daughters of various kings mean the saints who serve the church. The saints who become the bride of Christ must forget the world and long for the Lord only.
The members should value the time they attend the church and enjoy only serving God as the eternal king. It is not easy to break ties with the world, but you have to turn around firmly. We cannot be used before the Lord with a double heart.
(11-15) “Then the king will be captivated by your beauty. The king is your lord; you exalt the king. The messengers of Tire bring gifts, and the wealthiest people seek your favor. The queen wears clothes embroidered with gold thread, and enjoys all kinds of glory at the Gujung palace. When she goes to see the king in colorful clothes, there will be a line of virgins who will follow her as bridesmaids. They will be guided into the palace with joy and rejoicing.”
The groom cannot but love the pure bride who is not stained by the world. Therefore, as the brides of Christ, we should shun the world and draw near to the Lord, and receive all the blessings of being loved by the Lord.
Why do we have tribulations and trials? It's because I can't forget the world even when I go to church. We who live in Jesus should not envy the things of the world. When you are in the palace where the Lord is, there is no lack or worry. Do not pursue worldly vanity, but draw close to God.
