Psalm 57 is David's mikdam poem, which is a preceptive poem, meaning a proverb. Although it is a mikdam poem, it contains David's clear confession of faith. This psalm was written by David hiding in a cave to escape from Saul. Perhaps David, after fleeing into the wilderness to escape King Saul's persecution and the tip of a dreadful spear, while in the cave, fear and anxiety overshadowed him. I have seen
1. David is a man of dawn.
David's faith is the grace he received at dawn, and it is confessed in several psalms. (Psalm 5:3) says, "In the morning, O LORD, you will hear my voice; in the morning I will pray and look to you." (Psalm 46:5) says, "God dwells in it, and it will not be moved. In the morning God will help." will come before you."
David is a man of dawn. David realized God's profound grace and had deep spiritual fellowship with God because he met God at dawn. Although David had faults, he became a man after God's heart because he met God who helped him at dawn. There is no special time to meet God. God is a living God who always meets you. However, since God accomplished great things at dawn, we must seek God at dawn and seek His grace at dawn.
2. Therefore, God is looking for people of dawn.
God is looking for people who want to meet the Lord in the quiet dawn. He is looking for people who wake up in the morning to accomplish the Lord's will. A person who wakes up at dawn is a healthy person, a job that gets up at dawn is a good job, and a member who has faith to pray at dawn is a member who is blessed with healthy faith.
3. We must become the people who wake up the dawn of history.
The person who wakes up the dawn is the person who wakes up in his heart and wakes up the dawn of history. The church has always played a role in waking up the dark dawn of history. If the church fails to fulfill this mission, it will be rebuked by God. Regardless of the age, those who carried the cross with Christ were the ones who awakened the dawn. He awakened the dawn of civilization and awakened the soul from deep sleep in idolatry to become a child of the Lord. We have fulfilled our mission of waking up the dawn to a nation that has fallen into a sleep of destruction. Even now, God is looking for a watchman who wakes up the dawn. Isaiah 21:11 asks, "What is the night, watchman? What of the night, watchman?" Among the watchmen are those of the night who do not wait for dawn. People who live in darkness and shade.
