1. We must glorify the Lord (verses 1-2).

The purpose of God's creation of human beings is to glorify God and please Him. Because we have such a good purpose, we must be used for that purpose. If you lose your original purpose, your life becomes like garbage. whatever it is Being used according to God's purpose is the greatest blessing to man.

However, as we humans sinned, our relationship with God was cut off, and instead of glorifying God, we glorified ourselves and lived for our own benefit. All the hearts that had been toward God turned toward him.

This can be restored to its original purpose only when you receive Jesus Christ as your Savior and are born again with a new heart. Children of God who are born again of water and the Spirit are naturally destined to seek God. When we believe in Jesus, our hearts ascend toward God and toward the glory of God.

2. Praise with the Spirit (verse 17).

The greatest blessing for the saints is to glorify God. Among them, praise is the most pleasing to God. When we do good deeds, when we pray, when we give thanks, and when we worship, we give glory to God, but the highest glory is to praise God.

Praise is done with the mouth, but it must be filled with a heart that truly praises God. What you do not have in your heart comes out with your lips as a form of hypocrisy and formality before God. First, you must believe in your heart. And you must always confess your faith, show it in your life, and praise it with thanksgiving.

(Romans 10:10) says, “With the heart one believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made, resulting in salvation.”

Some people praise just because they like to sing, but true praise is not about that. When I sing, my spirit must follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Only then will it come to God. If we sing praise simply because we like it, God is not glorified through it. It should be a praise that comes from the depths of my soul because I am so glad that the Holy Spirit has come into me and I have been washed away from my sins by the blood of Jesus and I am born again as a child of God. If it is not a song filled with tears, thanks and joy, it will not come to God.

3. You must receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (verse 20).

Everything, not just praise, must be moved by the gift. Whatever you do before God, you must receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. All of the Israelites initially came out of Egypt. However, there were only a few people who did not give in to Canaan and believed in God. Those who believe in humanity and follow the winds of the world will never go to Canaan. It's not something you can try. I can't go on my own. I can't go with any resolution. Going to Canaan must be done with God's help.

The disciples, too, at first followed each other with human thoughts. There was a desire for personal advancement, and there was also an ambition for the political independence of Israel. However, as we followed the Lord, we lost our self one by one and abandoned our old self, and found eternal life. We also believe that we will be victorious until the end when we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit and only go to the Lord.
