Title Reasons to Rejoice (1 Peter 1,6-9)

Contents Last time, we talked about the reasons why our chosen people should sing praises.

Today we want to receive grace by thinking together about reasons for rejoicing.

Where is the Shortest Verse in the New Testament? There is a short and clearest verse. It's only five characters long.

This is 1 Thessalonians 5:16.

It is a phrase to always rejoice.

Yes, if you become the people of the eternal inheritance of the kingdom of heaven, you should always live with joy.

There are too many things to be happy about.

The story of the clogs general

1, because through the trials of your faith you will receive praise and glory.

Verse 6 Therefore, now you have been forced to be grieved for a little while because of various trials, but on the contrary, you rejoice greatly.

Therefore, as I said earlier, the chosen saints had reason to praise.

To summarize again, a title to praise was given because we were chosen, but being chosen means being born again with the living hope of the resurrection.

Being chosen means that an inheritance is reserved in heaven.

To be chosen means to be cared for to the end of our lives.

Because we have reasons to praise in this way, we may be troubled by various trials.

The meaning of the word various here means miscellaneous things.

Therefore, it is said that various trials will come to those who live in the chosen living hope.

Miscellaneous refers to things that belong to insignificant things.

If we are not chosen by the Almighty, we will not encounter such a miscellaneous temptation.

Then, when you are baptized, a test that you have never experienced before you are baptized will come again.

Also, if you receive a certain position while living in the church, strangely, something like a trial will come to you.

Also, there are a lot of miscellaneous tests that you will receive as you change your position.

Some people are able to endure these miscellaneous trials by faith, while others are caught up in miscellaneous trials and I see that people change strangely.

And one of the miscellaneous temptations is the restrictions that come from trying to better serve Jesus.

Look at verse 6 again. Therefore, you cannot help but be grieved for a while because of various trials, but on the contrary, you rejoice greatly.

Miscellaneous tests come and go, but those tests are short-lived.

But the joy that comes from overcoming that test is great joy.

7 The trial of your faith is more precious than gold that perishes even though it is tried with fire, so that it may obtain praise, glory, and honor at the appearing of Jesus Christ. boil it

In the same way, God undergoes trials with various tests in order to make the chosen saints believers like gold.

It is also to give praise and glory to the glorious day when Jesus Christ returns.

Among the many and many people in this world, how much joy and joy should I be over the fact that I have been chosen to believe in Esu?

Faith tested by trials is more precious than gold refined by fire.

I would like to introduce some Bible verses that can help you overcome miscellaneous tests.

2 Peter 3:14 Therefore, beloved, while you are looking for these things, be hopeful that they may be found in the presence of the Lord without spot and blameless in peace. Romans 2:7 And to those who by patience in doing good seek glory and honor and immortality, eternal life

2, I have not seen Jesus, but I am able to love

Verse 8: Although we have not seen Jesus, we love him. Even though we have not seen Jesus now, we believe and rejoice with an indescribable glorious joy.

Because it is a love that cannot be seen, it is not a love that is engulfed in emotions, but a personal and complete love with wisdom, affection, and righteousness.

It is also the same as saying that you believe in Jesus even though you have not seen Him.

There are many people who see and hear but do not believe.

Jesus also said in John 20:29, "Do you believe because you saw me? Blessed are those who believe without seeing. These are the words spoken by Thomas, who was doubtful."

Dear brothers and sisters, all of you are people who have not seen Esu.

Do you have the heart to love Jesus in your heart, or do you believe in Jesus as your Savior even though you have never seen Him? It is really strange.

I have never seen it, but I want to love it, and I have never seen it, but it's amazing to believe it.

This is because our hearts are like a sheet of paper, and the Holy Spirit has already clearly drawn the spiritual figure of Jesus on this drawing.

It is evidence that we have already become holy paintings painted with the Holy Spirit long ago.

Romans 5:5 Hope does not put us to shame, because the love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us, and the love of God has already been poured out into our hearts.

That is why we see and love Jesus with our hearts.

We see and believe in Jesus with our hearts.

To be able to believe without seeing, To be able to love even though you have not seen How precious it is. Look at the second half of verse 8 ... He said that he rejoiced with indescribable and glorious joy.

Joy here refers to fully automatic joy.

It means that the result of loving Jesus and believing in Jesus is that you will enjoy joy.

3, by faith the soul is saved,

Verse 9 The end of faith, that is, the salvation of the soul. Ultimately, the end of faith is the salvation of the soul.

However, the meaning of the word ?eceived??here is very precious.

I don't mean to just receive, but to receive here means to receive in return.

To get something back means to get something back someday.

Or it means to get something back that was taken away.

That is what the salvation of our souls is like.

The problem of saving our souls is very certain.

This is usually not something to be happy about.

That's why in verse 6 it says, "I rejoice greatly," which means that they are happy because they are happy because they do not know what to do, so they dance and rejoice.

There is work we must do to make that joy completely mine.

I live a life that beats me in various tests and overcomes me.

Looking to Jesus, who is the Lord of faith and perfects our faith, we take up the cross that belongs to us.
