Prayers answered / Matthew 7:7-12
Jesus talked a lot about prayer, but the text teaches what kind of prayer is answered prayer. Then, with what attitude should we pray in order to receive answers?
First, we must believe in a good God and pray.
God is a good Father who wants to give us good things. And God is a rich Father who can do all things and has all things. That's why he told us to ask, seek, and knock. This kind of God only answers us when we come to God and pray (James 4:2). Therefore, let us now wake up the souls that are idle due to the sweltering heat, and cry out to God at dawn and pray.
Second, we must pray and not lose heart.
When we pray, sometimes our expectations and wishes do not come true. So, do you sometimes feel discouraged or give up on prayer? However, we should not be discouraged even at such times, but keep praying, believing that God the Father will surely hear the prayers of our children who cry day and night.
Third, we must pray earnestly.
I know that the words 'Ask, seek, and knock' mean to pray fervently and to pray earnestly and earnestly. A prayer without fervor and earnestness in your prayers cannot be called prayer. Therefore, I hope that you will be able to experience God's answer by coming to this special early morning prayer meeting and praying persistently and insistently on God.
Fourth, we must pray while giving to God.
