Title: Required and optional of faith
Romans 3:28-31 ‘28. Therefore we admit that it is not by works of the law that a person is justified, but by faith, 29. Is God only the God of the Jews, and not the God of the Gentiles? There is only one God who will justify the circumcised through faith and the uncircumcised through faith, 31. Do we then break the law through faith?
We testify in the Bible that the fact that we believe in Christ Jesus is not a rational choice, but rather, it is through the grace of God who has chosen us. The problem is to think about how the ideology and expression of life of a believer should be biblical. I would like to share the Word with two essentials and options on the essence of faith.
1. Essentials of Christian Faith
If students ignore the required courses, they will have problems completing the semester and graduating. Likewise, disregarding the essentials of faith can, strictly speaking, exclude you from salvation. Romans 3:28 “Therefore we acknowledge that a person is justified by faith, and not by works of the law.”
And there are several church leaders who claim to believe in Jesus, but it is important to believe on the basis that there is no savior other than Jesus, not my personal religious preference to choose Jesus.
Acts 4:12 “Salvation can be found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
=> Dispel all religions
1 Timothy 2:5 “There is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”
2. Optional
The choice is voluntary. However, the degree of choice only differs depending on the zeal for sincerity. Romans 12 tells us that the charismatic qualities of each faith are different, and chapter 14 tells us that the progress of that faith can also be different. As people of faith, we educate, teach, and encourage perseverance for attachment to the so-called sanctified life. Romans 3:31 “Are we then breaking the law through faith?
Of course, the law mentioned here means the law based on the Old Testament, and it means all the rules of religious practices centering on the Ten Commandments. The law is not even a condition for salvation in the first place. The miracle of their exodus was their true salvation, and the Ten Commandments and all the ordinances were received as a rule of their lives in the wilderness.
But is the ordinance invalid just because Jesus has come? Rather, the Bible emphasizes that it is established firmly. That is why we are emphasizing that just because we are justified by faith does not mean that we live a lawless life, but that we should build a healthier life of faith in Jesus.
As the law says in Galatians 3:24, the law functions as a teacher and teaches people to come to Christ and restore them by faith, knowing that human life is a sin. said it was good.
Revelation 2:10 The saying, “…be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life” is optional, not mandatory. No one can be martyred, and they cannot be faithful together.
Life of faith is sometimes compared to building a house, but the foundation is to make Jesus Christ and the Lord of life, and the evidence through life shows the degree of loyalty in the life of sanctification. This behavior is not to secure the status of a child, but to rebuke them in the hope that they will grow up. If the church teaches the scale of faith, it is said that it is enough, but it is saying that it will not grow. We are clearly living in the last days, and we know that the day of the Lord's coming is very near. At such a time, the attitude of listening to the counsel of the Lord should be humble, and I pray that you and I will be praised by the Lord by focusing more on building the right attitude of believers.
