Title [Rodem Tree] The Existing Christ
Contents
There is a middle-aged widow who has recently evangelized and is attending church. She opened a Megitang restaurant and served customers with taste and sincerity. Through word of mouth, regular customers began to come. On Sundays, he attended church diligently with his son. But for some reason, I didn't attend the service last Sunday. The missionary visited and informed us that the restaurant had to close in order to pay off the debt by withdrawing the deposit due to the urging of 6 million won in borrowed bonds while opening the restaurant. And he decided to close the restaurant and go to his daughter who lives in Seoul.
Where am I the only one! The field where pastors stand is a place where they must meet the existing Christ. It is a place to realize in advance the judgment that will come before the judgment seat of the kingdom of God.
“I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me” (Matthew 25:42-43).
There are times when I think deeply about where the pastor who is called to be a prophet of this age should stand and what glory is promised to the pastor. What money and power do we have to help someone? Or what great achievements will he leave behind to be admired by others?
We turn away from the present Christ we meet in the field of ministry today and say, "Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or naked or sick or in prison and did not make offerings to you?" (Matthew 25:44) Resolve that you must pray so that you do not groan.
