1. Background: Basic Law (8)
※ One law that embraces all other laws is “love.”
One). The believer must not let any light shine on anyone.
※ Show respect to those who deserve respect, and set an example for those who need to pay off debts.
※ How can we keep this commandment in our daily life?
※ Believers must always pay their debts and fulfill their obligations.
Do not allow yourself to negatively evaluate Christians or distance you from God.

2). A believer must not owe anyone except a debt of love.
※ Love is more important than other virtues in leading people to Jesus and building an ideal society.

※ If believers continue to be in debt and commit sins that will be discussed in the future, believers are no different from the world. They are hypocrites with false confessions. You must obey God.

2. How love forbids (9)
One). Do not commit adultery (Ex. 20:14, Deut. 5:18, Matthew 5:27-30, cf. 1 Corinthians 6:18) ; 6th commandment
※ Adultery refers to all forms of sexual immorality. (Love forbids all sexual relations outside of marriage)
① Sexual immorality destroys individual rationality and intelligence. (Most inner beings, nature and genes)
② Sexual immorality destroys an individual's body by lowering itself to an animal level.
③ Sexual immorality destroys the body by corrupting the most intimate temple of the Holy Spirit.
(4) Sexual immorality is the act of using the human body as an object or instrument to satisfy impulses and lusts.

⑤ Sexual immorality destroys the body by causing all kinds of emotional and spiritual problems for those involved. (Sexual relationships outside of marriage instill guilt and negative thoughts within him.)
※ The key point: “Love forbids sexual immorality”. A person who truly loves someone

2). Love forbids murder (Ex. 20:13, Deut. 5:17): 7th commandment
※ God gave it to protect people's lives. (Matthew 5:21-22, 19:18, 1 John 3:15, 1 Peter 4:15)
3). Love forbids stealing (Ex. 20:15; Deut. 5:19): 8th commandment
※ Theft is taking anything that rightfully belongs to another person.

※ You steal by accumulating more than you need. (Hiding is stealing)
① Having more than necessary

③ The act of taking away the benefits of nature
④ The act of accumulating knowledge, gifts, and blessings alone
(Matt 6:19-21, Eph 4:28, 1 Tim. 6:9, 6:17-19, Ezekiel 22:12)
※ They steal by living a more luxurious life than necessary. (Donate)
4). Love forbids false witness against one's neighbor (Ex. 20:16; Deut. 5:20): 9th commandment
※ It is forbidden to lie about anything other than lying about someone in court.

※ God has not left any room for us to gossip with others.
5). Love forbids covetousness. (Ex 20:17, Deut. 5:21) ; 10th commandment
※ It can be used in both a good sense and an evil sense, but this verse says that believers must not covet in an evil sense.

6). love your neighbor as yourself
※ Love is a summary of any commandment.
※ The totality and essence of all that God said and did is love (Matthew 22:39).
3. Love does no evil to neighbor (10)
※ Doing evil means
① to think of evil,
② Desire and desire for evil,
(3) planning and concocting evil;
④ actually doing evil,
⑤ It is not doing good.
※ Note that “not doing good is evil”. (Proverbs 3:27-29)
※ What is love? The Bible (1 Corinthians 13) speaks of very practical actions.
※ God's love must be revealed to the world through us. As the world sees the love of God, they too must become worshipers of God through Jesus Christ.
