Title Self-consciousness/Hebrews 6:1-3
Content: Self-consciousness/Hebrews 6:1-3
Today, I would like to examine what kind of self-consciousness people who start the faith have about themselves and what problems arise misunderstandings and misunderstandings. Let us consider which problems are hindering the growth and maturity that believers should have, and how we can carry out them successfully.
Even though we believe in Jesus, being 'not like a believer' is a big problem for us. Usually, we have a preconceived notion that people who 'believe in Jesus' should at least 'believe in Jesus'. However, this preconceived notion often harms believers rather than helps them. When we hear from others or ourselves that we are 'unlike a believer', it has a huge impact on our personal life of faith. So we live in two types.
First, I solve the conflict by pretending to be a person who believes in Jesus, because I can't live as much as I know the level that a believer in Jesus should be. I have no choice but to pretend that I pray a lot, pretend that I don't have any troubles, and that I am doing my life of faith rightly.
“To the church of God which is in Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be saints, and to all who in every place call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is both them and ours” (1 Corinthians 1:2).
"Church of God, saints sanctified in Christ Jesus." There is no more beautiful and high-level title than this. But see you next time.
"Brothers, I cannot speak to you as I do to spiritual people, but as to carnal persons, to little children in Christ" (1 Corinthians 3:1).
“I have heard that even among you there is fornication, such fornication does not exist among the Gentiles, who say that he has taken his father’s wife (1 Corinthians 5:1).
“I say this to put you to shame, is there not one of you like this who is wise enough to judge the matter of his brother?” (1 Corinthians 6:5).
Paul's story is, "You are cheap people even when you are reviled. You deserve to be put to shame," but the title that is called is the church of God and the saints who have been sanctified in Jesus Christ.
“Therefore, let us not forsake the basics of the Christian way, and build again on the foundation of repentance of dead works, of faith in God, of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of the resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment, but let us go forward to perfection (Hebrews 6:1). "
“Therefore, holy brethren, together with you in the heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest of our doctrine,” (Hebrews 3:1).
There is no room for us to forsake the basics of the Christian way, repent of dead works, faith in God, baptisms, laying on of hands, and resurrecting such foundations as the resurrection of the dead. It doesn't seem to be happening all the time because I can't give up the idea of securing my status at my level.
“I have even heard that there is fornication among you.” Who are they? They are the church of God and the saints sanctified in Christ. Even if you make a mistake, the name is not revoked. As long as I try to secure the foundation of being a child of God with my level and ability, it will not be secured for the rest of my life. They only say the word “salvation,” and they do not make any progress. The unbeliever we feel we are now a goal to be reached by training, fixing and cutting. They want to be proud before God, and they want to believe confidently in what they believe. But the Bible calls this a sin. Don't try to stand out I'd rather be shameless. This is our guts. We decided to get out of this pathetic position, but let's be thankful for how honorable we are. Let us be determined to begin the growth of faith in which our shortcomings become what motivates us.
