Title Service/Numbers 4:21-28
Content Service/Numbers 4:21-28
He said that even a three-year-old child could learn something. But people don't want to learn. What I have to learn here is not to study. It means that you have to feel something in every aspect of your life. It is necessary that there is something to feel and realize through any work. In the meditation meeting, there was a talk that there is no such great sin as pride. You need to know that there is no pitiful side like the person who thinks that he knows everything and that no one is as smart as he is and that he has nothing to learn from him. Of course, this also includes faith.
One of the problems in our religious life is that we know everything. You must know that pride is the idea of thinking that the Bible and everything in the church are all that one knows, and that any thoughts that deviate even a little from them are considered strange and evil. Then why should we learn? It is because God's thoughts and ours are so different. It is so different that we have to learn from God every day. We must learn what God's will is through everything that is revealed in our lives through the Bible. One of those things to learn is service. We have a very misconceived notion of service. It has only become a tool to boast of with what it is called service. Through it, he has been degenerated in such a way that he intends to show that he is a great believer. So, I don't know when, but a certain position has become a battle commander. In order to get that courage, it has become such a thing that you have to earn points for service.
Is that all? By doing so, we hope for some benefit as much as we have served as God. I've done this much. Is it because you worked so hard and worked so hard? It was a service with a rewarding mentality that said that God would take care of it. By doing so, I had the feeling of being proud before God. As a result, the service becomes a burden. If I don't do it, people's eyes are scared, and if I try to do it, it's hard and I don't have time. Then, we will try to think about what kind of service is in the Bible through the text.
In this sense, you must serve. Because through that service, God wants us to learn. Without service, we cannot learn that much, we do not know the sacrifice of the Lord, and we do not know the cross. I hope that there will be a service to forsake me, not to deny myself, not because I am given something. Positions are not forms.
