Title Set Prayer Time (Daniel 09:4)
What it's like to say that you are a person of prayer. After all, great people are those who pray. Peter and John went up to the temple at the appointed prayer time, and we see that a great work was also performed.
Therefore, Christians should set aside a time each day to create regular times for prayer.
1. There are various things that are necessary to pray. Today, let's think about it again. When we pray, we give praise and worship to God. And confession, meditation, and thanksgiving.
When we pray, we praise God. However, there are many cases where we usually do not give praise, but it is important for us to sit quietly and give praise to God. It is praise that continues when we go to heaven. That is why praise is so important because it pleases God. When I see it like that, I think about what the role of the choir is.
And remember, praise is not prayer. And worship. This worship should be proper worship to God. Although this is precisely the content of prayer, it is still not prayer.
Confession is not prayer. And thanksgiving is not yet prayer. But prior to prayer, these procedures are very important.
In today's text (Daniel 9:4), I prayed to the LORD my God and confessed, saying, "The great and fearful Lord God, you who keep your covenant for those who love you and keep your commandments and show kindness to them." You can see that these are the contents of Daniel's prayer.
When we pray, please make up our minds to praise God in our hearts. While doing this, I express that I hold on to the rope of prayer. And worship God. You must also decide this in your mind. And confession should be recorded on a regular basis. Therefore, we must have a prayer notebook. So, in your notebook, whenever you remember what you need to confess, you should write it down. Otherwise, it is easy to forget. (1 John 1:9) If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. He will make us clean, because there may be sins that cannot be confessed.
And be sure to record what you are grateful for. It's always a good idea to take notes, because otherwise you'll forget them all. This is because we can see what we wrote down and pray without relying on our memory.
2. When we pray we need to be reminded of the Lord's reputation.
(2 Kings 19:14) When Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the lion, he went up to the house of the Lord and opened the letter before the Lord (2 Kings 19:15) and prayed before him, saying, “O Lord, the God of Israel, who is above the cherubim, you (2 Kings 19:16) Incline your ear, O LORD, and hear; open your eyes, O LORD, and see; Hear the words Sennacherib sent to blaspheme the living God (2 Kings 19:17), O LORD, Assyria. Indeed, the kings have left the nations and their land desolate (2 Kings 19:18) and threw their gods into the fire, for they were not gods, but the work of human hands, wood and stones, and destroyed them (2 Kings 19:19). Now, we pray, O LORD our God, deliver us from his hand, so that all the nations of the world will know that you are the only God.
Please underline the underline.
(1 Kings 18:36) At the time of the offering of the evening meal offering, the prophet Elijah came and said, O LORD, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, that you are God in Israel, and that I am your servant, and that I do all these things according to your word. (1 Kings 18:37) Answer me, O LORD, answer me, that this people may know that you are God, and that you turn their hearts.
(Joshua 7:9) When the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land hear this, they will surround us and cut off our name from the world. What will you do for your great name?
This is a reminder of God's reputation. However, he is not trying to please God, and he is not the one who accepts it. But through these words, we have confidence in our faith, and it is also the glory worthy of God.
I pray to God, and now I pray like this. The God who is the owner of everything in the universe and also makes the rich and the powerful! God makes the rich. He also makes the rulers.
3. After that, I hope that we will remind them that I am worthy of God. (2 Kings 20:1) At that time Hezekiah fell ill and died, and Isaiah the son of Amos the prophet came to him and said, ‘Thus says the LORD, (2 Kings 20:2) Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, saying, (2 Kings 20:3) I pray, O Lord, that I have walked before You in truth and with all my heart, and that I have done that which is good in Your sight. Remember that, and wept bitterly.
4. May God remind you of His Word.
(2Sa 7:21) Because of your word, you have done all these great things according to your will, and made known to your servants. (2Sa 7:25) Now, O LORD God, make sure forever what you said concerning your servant and his house. (2 Samuel 7:26) May your name be magnified forever by men, saying, “The LORD of hosts is the God of Israel; and make the house of your servant David established before you.” (2 Samuel 7:27) O LORD, God of Israel, I made known to your servant, saying, ‘I will build a house for you. You have granted your servant this good thing.
Now we go to God with the Word of God and pray with this Word.
Also Jacob (Genesis 32:12) said the Lord, "Surely I will be gracious to you, and I will make your offspring as numerous as the sand of the sea that cannot be counted."
I made a promise to my son before. But I overlooked it carelessly, and my son remembered it, and when he asked for the fulfillment of the promise, saying, “My father had made this promise before, I had to do it.
However, our God, who does not have a rotating shadow, has promised us that the promise will not change even if the world disappears. Please believe that if we hold onto this word and pray before God, it will surely be answered.
5. It is a good idea to write the scriptures on your prayer list.
So, read the Bible a lot.
And before you pray, write down these verses and read them.
(James 5:13) Is any of you afflicted? Let him pray, and let anyone rejoice, let him sing. (James 5:14) Is there any among you sick? Pray. (Psalm 103:3) He will forgive all your iniquities and heal all your diseases.
(Luke 11:13) If you, though evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.
(1 John 5:14) This is the confidence we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us (1 John 5:15). also know
(John 14:14) If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it for you (Matthew 21:22) And whatever you ask in prayer, believing and asking, you will receive.
There are countless prayers that have been promised to us. Write down these prayer verses, read and meditate on them, and then pray to God...
Also, pray earnestly for the help of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 8:26) In the same way, the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Holy Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
