title shadow

*** Bible_ Acts 5:12-16

In the Old Testament times, shadows were used to indicate time. In addition, shadows were used to describe disasters and places to avoid disasters, and they are expressed as shadows when comparing our lives to short and fast passing. In today's text, shadow is used in a different sense. When many sick people come into contact with Peter's shadow, the mystical work of healing is taking place through Peter's shadow. So today, I am going to receive grace for the shadow that caused the mysterious history.

A shadow is not a body, but a by-product derived from the body. A shadow has no weight because it has no substance. We can't even get it in our hands. Shadows are worthless because they have no substance. But today's Bible tells us that God is healing many sick people through this priceless shadow. There are various ways that God works, but in today's text, God is performing miracles through the insignificant shadows.

God called Abraham to perform the precious work of saving mankind, but he did not use it as a valuable tool when Abraham was young and intelligent, but he called Abraham at the age of 75 and used it as a tool of salvation. During the Exodus from Egypt, the instrument God used when the Red Sea parted like dry land was the dry staff in Moses' hand. He parted the Red Sea by using a staff that is really poor, like a shadow.

While on the road, Jesus met a man who had been blind since birth and healed him. What do you use to heal him? He healed them with saliva and mud. Saliva and mud are but shadows. A woman with hemophilia for twelve years was healed by touching the hem of Jesus' robe. It is like touching the hem of a robe, not the real Jesus, the shadow of Jesus. As such, the important point that appears in the Bible is that God does not work by lifting up the body, but God works miracles with insignificant things like shadows rather than the body.

Also, God uses those who serve. Those who raise their heads saying they are number one are never used by God. God picks up those who serve and uses them. Why did God use Joshua? Because Joshua served Moses well. Why did God use Elisha? Elisha was chosen because he served Elijah well. Why did God use Timothy? Timothy was written because Timothy served the apostle Paul well.

Dear brothers and sisters, who does God use? He listens to those who serve. Those who serve glorify God, and those who serve work miracles. So, a person who raises his head in the church to be served can never become a leader in the church. Serving the church humbly, we believe that we must remember that God listens to those who serve the church.

Peter never dreamed that his shadow could heal people. Peter simply served Jesus, who was crucified and resurrected for me, diligently daily. Through the daily life of service, the shadow of Peter naturally saved people. Rather than being achieved by setting a certain goal and living according to that goal, when we diligently and properly serve God through our daily lives, miracles occur in the aftermath of that life.

Today, when I truly worship myself as a living sacrifice before God, I must remember that God accepts our worship and blesses us. It is wrong for us to worship for any purpose. Our purpose is one, and we have only one purpose: to glorify God and to worship Him.

As we go through life, we must remember that the shadows that reflect our lives always follow us. Whether we like it or not, we are creating a shadow that reflects the way we live. Is the smell of our life or the shadow of life really a shadow that saves people like Peter's shadow? A shadow that kills people! Please think deeply. Is what I say and do today really for the sake of our Hanshin Church? Are you breaking the Hanshin Church? You have to think about it. Jesus established the kingdom of God on this earth by dying on the cross.

We believe that we should live our lives, thinking seriously about what we say, what we do, and whether our life really saves people, saves the church, and glorifies Christ.

Peter's faith was a firm faith that did not waver in any position. He did not succumb to oppression and persecution, conciliation and threats. Instead of compromising with the world and having a secularized faith, we must live with a clear and firm faith like Peter.

In my ministry, there is always something that strikes us, applying worldly logic to the church. Worldly logic can be applied in the church, but we must follow God's Word, which is more important than worldly logic. If the church always goes out with worldly logic, the church will inevitably fall. We may always go against the logic of the world at times, but we believe that we should live in obedience to the Word of God. When we take root and move forward in the Word of God, that is the church that saves lives.

Today, I hope that all members of Hanshin Church will serve God diligently and serve the church as servants, shadows, and second persons. We don't do it with a special sense of purpose. But if we have a purpose, it is to worship God in spirit and in truth, thanks to God's grace. Please remember that the fragrance and shadow that appears during this worship service is created by God through amazing works. Only those with clear faith can cast a shadow, and those who compromise with the world can never cast a shadow. I pray in the name of the Lord that you will become great Hanshin members who stand upright in the word of God and live with clear faith.
