Michelle Obama, the hostess of the White House in the United States, has created a vegetable garden of about 30 pyeong and is growing vegetables herself. As the president's wife, he grows 50 vegetables, including tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, spinach, and lettuce. Because I heard a warning from a doctor a few years ago.

When I heard that “there is a very high possibility that my daughter will develop pathological obesity”, I reduced eating out and changed my diet to vegetables, and the obesity problem was solved. It changed the eating habits of children who liked hamburgers. Michelle presented honey collected from a beehive in the White House vegetable garden when leaders of 20 countries gathered recently. The wife of President Lee Myung-bak also received White House honey as a gift.

Jesus said, “I have food to eat of which you do not know” (verse 32). It is heavenly food, not food made by people. The White House President's family's table is set with honey and vegetables from the garden, and we will have to eat and drink the heavenly food provided by God.

The food of the Word that makes people

Eating and living are inextricably linked. The fetus grows while breastfeeding in the womb. When you are born, you eat rice and grow up eating meat. You cannot live without food. You cannot grow without eating. If you don't eat the celestial warriors, you'll get weak and lose your strength. Appetite is an instinct. Makes you feel hungry and eats.

A person's appearance is to some extent influenced by what he eats and drinks. It is said that Singaporeans and Malaysians like tiger meat. Because it is believed that eating tiger meat will give you courage and wisdom like that of a tiger. The Diak of Borneo do not eat venison. Because they fear that they will become weak like a deer. These stories are based on the premise that food influences a person's qualities. There are foods that are sweet in the mouth but bad for the body, and foods that are bitter in the mouth but good for the body.

God told Elijah to go to Zarephath and to feed a widow. The poor widow made a loaf of bread and served it with a handful of flour and a little oil. And there was no powder in the powder barrel and no oil in the oil bottle.

Silkworms feed on mulberry leaves. He constantly eats mulberry to transform his entire being into silk. Then he becomes a cocoon to pull out the silk thread, and he dies. It annihilates itself and pulls out the silk thread.

Food is an absolute element that makes the human body. Heavenly food is the food that makes people human. “He has no food. He has food.” This is a saying about the character of a person. Wherever he went, Jesus was the object of respect and praise. Even Pilate said he found no sin in Jesus.

“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth (John 1:14).

It is the heavenly food that made Jesus the Lord of glory and grace. This is because he was conceived by the Holy Spirit and became the Son of Man, and he took food from the Word of God. Jesus fasted for 40 days and was very hungry, but he said, “Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). It was not the bread made of stone that he became the Son of God, but the heavenly food that came out of the mouth of God.

When the Israelites spent 40 years in the wilderness, God gave them manna every day. “He rained down on them manna to feed them, and gave them food from heaven… … .God has provided me with food. (Psalm 78:24-25) When I wanted meat, he satisfactorily fed me with quail (Psalm 105:40). I hope you live in the heavenly style. I hope to grow as a person of God.

The food of doing the will of God

The food of Jesus is to do the will of God. “Jesus said, “My food does the will of him who sent me” (verse 34).

Rockefeller was the richest man in the world. He lived to the age of 98, and he was taught by his mother and kept until his death. I received the 10 commandments containing the mother's will as food.

Meaning refers to the mind and will to do something. “The things I have planned will surely come to pass, and the things I have planned will surely come to pass” (Isaiah 14:24). This is God's will. The food of Jesus was to embrace the will of God.

Moses was born when the Israelites suffered and groaned. The boy was under Pharaoh's order to kill. He was able to preserve his life thanks to his mother's devout faith and grew up in it. He valued his glory and cast you down and suffered with the people of God more than the treasures of Egypt. It was a life lived according to the will of God. God spoke to Moses. “Say to Pharaoh, ‘This is what the LORD says: Israel is my son, the firstborn, and give me my son to serve me. But you refuse to let him go, so I will kill your son, your firstborn’” (Exodus 4:22-23). ) According to God's will, he stood proudly in front of Pharaoh and preached God's will. Through the death of the firstborn, God subdued Pharaoh and made the Exodus possible.

Look at what Jesus prayed on the Mount of Olives. “Father, if it is your will, remove this cup from me. But not my will, but your will. He worked hard and prayed earnestly to do God's will (Luke 22:42-44). When he taught his disciples to pray, he made them pray, “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).

Jesus' food was to do God's will. God's will is that all people will believe in Jesus and all will be saved. “Lift up your eyes and see the fields, for they are white for harvest (verse 35). There is no time to delay. “Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 7:21) Preaching the gospel and evangelism are living according to God’s will.

Food for the work of God

Jesus said that completing the work of God is my food. “My form is… … . This is what completes his work (verse 34). “I have glorified you in this world by doing what you gave me to do” (John 17:4).

Jesus prepared for God's work from the beginning. He first went to the Jordan River and was baptized by John. When he was baptized, the Holy Spirit descended like a dove, and a voice was heard from heaven. “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:17).

He was led by the Holy Spirit to be tempted in the wilderness for 40 days and defeated the devil.

“From that time on … … .Preaching and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. (Matthew 4:17) After you defeated the devil, you began to preach.

He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath and read the Bible and spoke. “The Holy Spirit of the Lord has come upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor and has sent me to preach liberty to the captives and restoration of sight to the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor. (Luke 4:18-19) He considered it his mission to receive salvation through evangelism. “… … .Let's go to other nearby villages, and we will preach there too, for this is why I came” He preached in the synagogue and cast out demons (Mark 1:38-39).

He accomplished the work of God and said, “I am thirsty” and “It is finished” (John 19:30). He poured out both water and blood to accomplish God's work.

Working diligently is a good thing. Being lazy without working is evil. To believe is righteousness and not to believe is sin. The Bible says that if you do not want to work, you must not eat (Thessalonians 3:10). Poverty takes away human dignity. The one who had buried one talent had even what he had taken away. He was rebuked as an evil and lazy servant, and was bound and thrown out. Poverty is not only inconvenient, but also deprives us of freedom and dignity.

Do you know which company was in charge of the construction of Jangchung Gymnasium? Construction started in 1962 by a Philippine company technical team, not Hyundai E&C, and was completed in February 1963. At that time, the Philippines was the second most advanced country in Asia after Japan. A middle-class family in the Philippines used a Chinese as a housekeeper. The dictatorship and corruption have killed the country's growth engine.

Until now, we have not been able to worship and preach. The pulse of the church must be revealed through prayer and evangelism. “Be ye doers of the way, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves” (James 1:22). “It is said that when you have ten thousand books in your heart, they overflow and become letters. (Chu-Seo, Kim Jeong-Hee). I hope that you will be filled with the Word and the Holy Spirit to preach the Gospel.

There are farmers who feed Korean beef with herbal medicine to make good meat quality and sell it at a high price. Mad cow disease is a disease caused by cattle eating meat. Cows must eat grass and chew the cud. The caterpillar must eat the pine needles to become a caterpillar. We become people of God only when we eat the heavenly food and meditate on the Word.

Jesus said, “My flesh is true food and my blood is true drink” (John 6:55). His food was the Word, and his drink was the Holy Spirit. I hope that you will eat the heavenly food and hear the voice of “You are my son.”

John the Baptist's food was locusts and locusts. The words that came out of his mouth were like an ax through a tree.

The joy of the harvest is directly proportional to the sweat shed. As a farmer prepares seeds, let's embrace God's will as our own will and accomplish God's work. “He who sows in tears will reap with joy. Those who go out weeping and sowing will surely return with joy, carrying the sheaf. (Psalm 126:5-6) The words of Jesus are the words of God. It is God's will. It's God's work. Let us also eat and work diligently with heavenly food.
