Title Sola Fide (Heb 11:27-40)

If someone asked me, “What do you live for?”, how would you answer?
Soldiers live for honor, celebrities live for popularity.
Merchants and business people live for money, and politicians live for power.
So, what are we Christians for?
Christians live by faith.
Hebrews 11 is a record of the forefathers of faith.
Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph and Moses, Joshua, Gideon, Samson, David and Samuel...
What these people have in common is that they all lived by faith.
So, what does it mean to live by faith?
It does not mean kneeling before power that is visible, but rather under the authority of an invisible God (verse 27).
It refers to giving up human strength and ability even in the face of the red sea, and putting one's feet into the sea in hope of God's help (verse 29).
It is impossible to comprehend or comprehend with human common sense and experience, but it refers to going around the city seven times at a time, believing that if you go around the city without saying a word, it will collapse. (verse 30)
Faith conquers a nation and blocks the mouths of lions.
Faith escapes the edge of the sword, and it endures all ridicule and scourge and great tribulation.
The Bible says, “The world is not worthy of such a man” (verse 38).
There are two kinds of Christians in the world.
One is a Christian that the world cannot handle, and the other is a Christian who cannot handle the world.
Are you a Christian that the world can’t handle?
‘Are you a Christian who can’t handle the world?’
As Christians, we must become “people the world cannot bear.”
Don’t be a ‘person who can’t handle the world’.
To become such a person, all things must be done “by faith.”
To live by faith means to give up my thoughts, my experiences, my knowledge, and my abilities. Faith is only looking at what God will accomplish, seeing it as visible even if it is invisible, seeing it as possible even though it seems impossible, and making a decision with faith and putting it into action to achieve it.
I hope that you and I will live today “by faith alone” in order to become a person the world cannot bear.
The Latin word for "faith alone" is Sola Fide.
Sola Fide - This is the way Christians live.
