Content Spiritual Principle/Romans 14:1~4
In order for a person to live in the world, there are laws that must be obeyed and there are basic principles of life that must be met. Likewise, there is a spiritual principle that we must know to live our spiritual life in this world according to God's help. The Bible presents a clear principle of action for the believer.
First, we must kill the desires of this earth and look to the cross. We sometimes experience difficulties and bewilderment because we cannot distinguish the will of God from the will of man, and we have to struggle and pray in front of practical faith. In such a case, when we correct the direction of our life according to the spiritual principle and correct the key to life, God will surely reveal the will.
The spiritual principle of the saints is, first, to ask whether the work they are doing brings glory to God. We need to ask whether we are seeking the wrong things for the sake of lust, fantasy, and lust, and whether it is for the glory of God. God is pleased with the children who keep their faith for the glory of God, and he respects the children who obey them even in the midst of tribulation and suffering, and look forward to seeing how God's will and work are revealed for our families and churches .
Second, we have to ask whether it is beneficial to everyone. I need to think about whether what I am doing is beneficial to my life serving God. Also, when you start working, you need to check whether it will harm your life of serving God. If you think it will help you spiritually, you will have to persevere to the end even if it is difficult for a while.
Third, we must ask whether it is edifying. We must build virtue on faith. In particular, in the world of faith, no matter how smart and knowledgeable in worldly knowledge and logic, if virtue does not appear in it, you cannot become the protagonist of God and no people follow. If we first change into virtue, we will shine brightly with God's love and grace through our homes, neighbors, and churches.
Fourth, we must ask whether it has the characteristics of God. If our actions, goals, and actions have worldly characteristics, they are obviously driven by our own greed. Anything we do not follow by faith is sin. To grieve God, to not love God, etc. are all sins. We must live above duty, have a positive ethics, and serve and believe above duty. God does not use the lawmakers, but the people of grace and faith. I hope you have a beautiful faith that realizes the spiritual principle that God gives to all of us.
