Text: Job 3:25-26
This world created by God consists of the visible material world and the invisible spiritual world. Obviously there are angels, and the devil and his followers are in the spiritual world. Animals, insects, birds, and meat that have life in this world belong to the material world. However, man has both a spiritual element and a material element.
“God made man out of dust (visible body → material world) and breathed into his nostrils life, and he became a living soul (invisible spiritual world) (Genesis 2:7).” There are two unusual words in this text: the breath and the living spirit. Literally living qi (luck), a living spirit is a living spirit. To put it all together, the first is the fact that man is made up of a visible body and an invisible soul. Second, human life is not in the body, but in the soul. Third, the soul is more precious than the body.
“It is the Spirit and the life that give life” (John 6:63).
Our spirit lives according to the word of God, and our body lives on food. Jesus said, “Man does not live on food alone, but on every word that proceeds from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). You said. Therefore, a person more noble than an animal that only needs to eat should be good in thinking, noble in speaking, and dignified in action.
The point I want to preach today is that there must be a syndrome (symptom, phenomenon) before any results appear. The title of today's sermon means that we must prevent and respond to future disasters, diseases, and tribulations by taking a closer look at the syndrome and responding well before it becomes a reality, before it becomes a reality, and before it becomes a reality. Syndrome, so it was decided.
1. Wisdom to detect the syndrome is required.
Today's text is about Job. There is a saying, “Do not discuss suffering without knowing Job, and do not discuss life without knowing Job’s suffering.”
“Job was a perfect man as a person, Job’s family was rich, and Job was a successful man as a wealthy man (Job 1:1-3).” Job did not lack anything. At least in terms of appearance. In such a house of Job, a syndrome developed, “fear and fear.” “What if property is stolen? What if disaster strikes our children?” A fear and dread that arose in his heart. However, he did not have the ability to discern it and deal with it, so it was only after Job suffered, “My fears have come upon me, and my fears have come upon me” (Job 3:25). confess that. On the surface, Job seemed to have no problem, but fear and fear were always in his heart. Anxiety about what to do if something happens is the first thing that comes before difficult things happen. If you feel restless, irritable, upset, vain, and dreaming, it is a bad syndrome and you should let it go.
2. We need an airway that goes beyond the syndrome.
Jesus said to us, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Jesus Christ (Philippians 4:4). 6-7).” Please pray and give thanks instead of anxiety, fear, and worry. Hallelujah!
If Job had prayed to God, like Elijah who prayed for the syndrome of dark clouds to appear in the cloudless sky, or Jacob who prayed for his brother Esau to change the syndrome of hate into the syndrome of love, the situation could have changed. There was. However, Job's family could not be prevented in advance because there was no spiritual love.
Understanding is wisdom, grace, and blessing. If there is a bad syndrome in my life, I pray that God will change it into a good syndrome by praying.
Here's how you can read the syndrome:
① This is my heart. You can read the syndrome by looking at your thoughts, feelings, and circumstances.
② It is the word of God. Because the Word itself is wisdom, glory, life, and blessing, you can read the syndrome through the Word.
③ It is a life of faith. It is a good syndrome when zeal, joy, gratitude, and prayer go well. Conversely, it is a bad syndrome when you distance yourself from the church and the door of prayer starts to get blocked.
Dear members of Shepherd Church,
I hope that you will have the wisdom to distinguish between good and bad syndromes by God's grace as you lead your life of faith. I bless you in the name of Jesus that the blessed syndromes of joy, thanksgiving, prayer, and praise from the Holy Spirit will not cease this week as well instead of the bad syndromes (symptoms) that the devil brings.
Hallelujah, Amen!!!
