Text: Gal 1:10 Title: Servant of Christ
‘It’s been 15 years.’
Today is Reformation Sunday. ‘Only in words! Only by faith! Only for the glory of God!' I can hear the cry of the reformers. More than 500 years have passed since the Reformation, but what do we look like? It's just so sad when I look back. We still need to be reformed today. We must return to the Word, return to faith, and glorify God alone. So, how should we be reformed today?
We must return to the position of the first servant.
“Am I now seeking the pleasure of men or of God or of men? If I have been seeking the joy of men, then I am not a servant of Christ” [Galatians 1:10].
In Paul's time, there were slaves. In other words, it is a species. Slaves were free to do whatever their masters wanted. Even if they had children, they had no choice but to sell if the owner sold them. A servant is to be completely loyal to his master. Paul linked this to the divine office. I have found a life of complete death and only mystical obedience, a death of the pride of the flesh and a life of holy service. We must return to the place of servants. In so many parts, we have lived as the masters. One day the master will find the talent. After knowing all that I have spent for my flesh, I will cast out the evil servant. This is the real reform today. They all have only owners. There are only those who are all shouting. No one is listening. There is no obedience. Returning to the original place is the true Reformation.
Dear Joy Families!
Let's get back to our place.
Second, we must not deceive the Holy Spirit.
“Peter said to him, Ananias, why is Satan so full in your heart, that you have deceived the Holy Spirit and have concealed the price of the land?” [Acts 5:4].
The Greek word ‘ananias’ means ‘Jehovah is gracious’. The meaning of 'Sapphira' is 'joyful'. Therefore, combining the names of husband and wife will always be joyful by the grace of God. Their names are truly reverent. But they were deceivers. deceived the Holy Spirit. In other words, the name and the life lived separately. How many saints are there today whose church office and world life are separate? How many times do we hear and see the church where lies are rampant and the spiritual authority that has been destroyed by the church authority? Don't even dream of deceiving the Holy Spirit. But we do not intend to deceive the Holy Spirit, but we think we can deceive the people of God. At that moment, listen to the dagger-like shaking of your conscience as the Holy Spirit speaks. That moment is the moment to deceive the Holy Spirit. Be honest with God's people.
Dear Joy Families!
You must not deceive the Holy Spirit. This is reform.
Conquer the third world.
“I have told you this, that you may have peace in me. In the world you will have tribulation, but take courage, I have overcome the world” [John 16:33].
The word ‘victory’ means ‘victory’. It means you have conquered it. But how do we today appoint church elders and deacons according to worldly judgment? Don't the eyes that see the people who come to the chapel look at the person's occupation and financial ability? This is the evil eye. Ugly eyes. Evil eye. Beat the eyes of the world. Beat the world's perspective. The truth is simple. May we see our neighbors through the eyes of the Holy Lord. In this case we
