Title Thank You for Everything
content le>
Hallelujah!
Some of us have experienced trials and tribulations, others have experienced sorrow and pain. I can only say thank you for giving me great comfort and hope in God in the midst of such tribulation and sorrow. For those who live by faith, I am thankful that the trials and tribulations made them a training process that strengthens their faith and makes their personality shine. I am just thankful that I became closer to the Lord who was far away in sorrow and pain, and I learned deeply the secret of faith that I did not know when I was calm. At the end of the trial, Job's confession, "I have only heard of you with the ear, but now my eye sees you" (Job 42:5), the confession that the suffering brothers and sisters all agreed with. is. Through the life process of trials and tribulations, human beings experience God's presence and His love, grace, and mercy more clearly so that we can see it with our own eyes. The apostle's words, "Give thanks in everything," are indeed the right counsel.
A life of gratitude is evidence that faith has matured as a believer, and it is an expression of human maturity. Even from birth, no one can deny the love of their parents. However, it is when we go beyond the mature adult years when we become more appreciative of our parents' benevolence and we feel our parents' generosity to our hearts ache. As for what is the sign of human maturity, I will answer without hesitation when I learn to appreciate my parents' blessings. Immature human beings resent their parents, their teachers, their society, their country, their lives, and live with complaints and dissatisfaction. A childish man wants the world to exist for his own sake and demands the sacrifice of everyone. Because he knows neither the world nor himself.
When human beings mature, they will come to know that not only the blessings of their parents but also society, the country, mountains, streams, heaven and earth are all things to be grateful for. I am filled with gratitude for all the tricks they have done for me than I have done for them. When the faith matures, not only peace and safety are understood as thankful blessings, but even hardships and trials can be received as the blessings and grace that God bestows on His beloved sons and daughters, and we become grateful. Mature people love their country even if it is poor, but the immature people curse and slander the country, even though it has benefited the most from it. Not only the state, but also the church and any group or meeting there, those who only complain and enjoy criticism and criticism are those who sacrificed themselves for the church and group, and those who did not contribute much and received only benefits.
Instead, those who devoted much of their wealth to the institution of that country love the institution that contains their sweat, tears, wealth, and devotion, even though it is insignificant and lacking. In any country, the symbols of those who are actually making the most sacrifices for that country are the top warriors. However, in any country, we cannot hear the soldiers criticize and criticize the country. If you think about it, billions of things are only conditions to be grateful for. The grace I received is so limitless, it's sad that I can't repay even one tenth of that grace.
Next, gratitude is the seed and source of blessings that create conditions to be grateful for. Those who are grateful only have more conditions to be thankful for. The Greek word for grace, charis, means gift. Receiving grace from God literally means receiving a gift. Gifts are sometimes exchanged between people. However, no matter how insignificant the gift may be, if the recipient truly appreciates it, it makes me want to give it more. However, for me, if the recipient receives a gift given with sincerity and weaving it with great care, even the gift that was given to me will come back to me. If you simply give thanks and give thanks for the small and great grace you have received from humans or God, God will give you more and more abundantly, more grace and blessings. How kind would the world be if people thought that even the things that people buy and sell are gifts of love, not trades?
We were the ones who sent the flood relief supplies sent by North Korea last time. Whatever the meaning, we received them as precious thoughts of gratitude. It is a great comfort to us, and it can even turn the hearts of those who send it back to good thoughts. Those who always know how to be grateful have more conditions to be grateful for. To Karl Marx and his followers, who saw all human relations as struggles, all world relations appear to be struggles, and the conditions for struggle only increase. In the eyes of those who see the world only as reciprocal trade and competition, so to speak, to Adam Smith and the classical capitalists, all human relationships, even those of parents, brothers and sisters, appear only as interests and rivalries. However, for God's people who view all human relationships as love, even in the relationship of buying and selling things, they live with gratitude and gratitude to each other, thinking that you are a gift (grace) that you give to me and I need you.
We have nothing but gratitude for everything. And there is always no choice but to be grateful. Looking up at the blue sky will only thank you. Even looking at the vast land, there is nothing but gratitude. We have no choice but to give thanks to God, to our neighbors, and to the wind, rain, and sunlight. However, once a year, one week is celebrated as Thanksgiving, and thanksgiving is offered to God, so I can't help but feel happy. Today is a weekly worship service of thanksgiving, but our hearts are filled with emotion as if we are repaying the grace and blessings we have received for a year, or so far, throughout our lives.
"O LORD, with a strong hand and an outstretched arm, with great majesty and wonder, you have brought us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey. Now, O LORD, I have brought the firstfruits of your land." You shall worship before your God, and you shall rejoice with the Levite and the stranger who sojourns among you, because of all the blessings that the LORD your God has given you and your house." (Deuteronomy 26:8-11)
