Don't try to find the perfect church.
You will not find it, and if you do, the church will not tolerate you imperfect!”
That's really sympathetic.
However, even if a perfect church does not exist, a ‘good church’ can exist.
Let's consider the factors that make our church the best through today's text.
A good church should be full of people who offer their bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God.
Among the characteristics of the church, the most important is the holiness of the church.
To offer the body as a holy, living sacrifice implies a whole-person devotion.
It does not end with going to church and worshiping on Sunday, but it means living a life in the presence of God, that is, living under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Before crossing the Jordan, what God ordered from Israel is holiness.
This sanctified life is possible only by renewing the heart.
A good church is made up of people who do their best in their duties and know how to be united in Jesus.
These people know the fraction of their gifts (verse 3), acknowledge that they are one of the many members of one body, the church, and use their gifts well to fulfill their responsibilities with joy.
We must serve with joy in gratitude for what we have chosen, what has been called, what has been entrusted to us, and what has been given us.
A good church has only those who take the lead and serve, serve, and love each other.
To do this, we must first love each other without lies or hypocrisy, we must be diligent and zealous, and we must always help and treat others in prayer.
Dear saints, This generation is said to be the era where many church members go 'church shopping'.
However, the ‘good church’ is not a place we go to, but something that is made with our knees and our hands.
Let's work together to make this church we serve become a three-way church.
