If the hard work we do in our short life is recognized by others and goes beyond recognition, I think it would be a rewarding life. So it's a happy thing for everyone that a person wins an award. In order to receive this award, I think it would be better to receive an award that everyone recognizes. Among the awards recognized in the world today, I think the Nobel Prize is the most prestigious award. Of course, Sweden and Norway are good and prosperous countries in many ways, but Sweden and Norway are more famous because they are countries that award Nobel Prizes. So, at the end of the year, Sweden and Norway are always airing the show in the world media. In particular, prizes for medicine, physics, chemistry, peace, literature, etc. These prizes are highly prized and those who receive them receive great honor. Therefore, when classifying American universities, the question ‘how many scholars have been awarded Nobel Prizes and how many professors are there in this university’ plays a big role in determining the university’s ranking. That's why it's so important to receive an award that everyone recognizes.
What matters is who we like and whose reward we receive. Because it is an important opportunity to make a new life for us. It is important to become God's people and to be rewarded by people rather than to please people, but I believe that when we become saints who receive a reward from God, we will become saints of greater glory.
How can we be pleasing to God and receive God's reward? Today we read Matthew 6. Regarding the godly life of those who believe in Jesus, the Bible values precisely three things. One of them is called salvation. The second most important thing is what we call prayer. The third is fasting and prayer.
What we need to remember here is that our godly life is devoted to God. In addition to this, more importantly, God must acknowledge and accept our godly life. That is the purpose of the godly life. If we are godly, we will receive favor from God. And that grace leads to gratitude. That is why prayer, praise, worship, fasting, almsgiving, and all these things that appear within us and outward appear to God who has given us grace. They refer to it and call it godliness.
All our prayers and our alms are directed to God. That is why, even when we are fasting, never let the other person notice, 'You are fasting! When you are fasting to God, you can go into your closet and pray with a disheveled appearance. But when you go out in front of people, Jesus taught you to comb your hair neatly, dress neatly, so that anyone who sees you does not notice that he is fasting.
God knows all our inner thoughts. It is God who examines us. Therefore, we must believe in our God, who knows everything about us, and live our godly life regardless of who knows or does not know Him.
The God we believe in is a rewarding God and a rewarding God. So, I ask you to give your reverence to God. So it doesn't matter who admits it or not. We must lead the life of a saint who is accepted by God. I pray in the name of the Lord that God will reward and reward you, so that the crown of righteousness awaits me like the Apostle Paul in the name of the Lord.
