Title Why are you here?

“Why are you here?”
I have three mentors. I am a very happy person because I discovered my potential through these people and was able to learn about God and humans. But now I find myself being a mentor to many people. It seems that people depend on each other and learn from each other and live a lifetime. However, all mentors as human beings have their limits. Because no one is perfect. If you do not have a mentor, there is no need to worry. We have a true mentor who does not change, who is the God who creates the heavens and the earth and works out our salvation.
Today's Word is God's word to Elijah, who thought he was left alone. When Elijah was called by God, he went to Ahab and had a battle with the prophets of Baal over who was the true God, revealing that God is the true God and that Baal is an incompetent God. Ahab told Jezebel how Elijah had killed all the prophets of Baal, and Jezebel heard this and wanted to kill Elijah.
There are times in my life when I feel like I am alone in the whole world. But we are never alone. I've never been alone. God is always with us. Without the grace and providence of this invisible God, we would never have come this far. Where are you now? Our life can be said to be a war between God's justice and neoliberal justice, simply put, "God and money," as Elijah confronted Baal. But what really troubles us as Christians, isn't it the anxiety and fear of "can God's justice survive?" It would be better if you could prove that God's justice is right in the midst of a storm or earthquake or fire, but God speaks in a small, soft voice.
Even Jesus did not call us out of a storm or earthquake. He is the one who is waiting for us, calling us with the weakest and most deplorable voice of the cross. God still asks, “What are you doing here, and why are you here?” toward us as children. We are not supposed to be in a dark cave full of resentment, fear and despair. The belief that God is with us, the assurance that He will help us, the hope and humility of being prepared are the places we need to be. I sincerely hope that you and I will be able to receive the Lord's tender comfort and grace like Elijah, and to be refreshed every moment every day, without delay at the Lord's earnest call. Shalom!
