The reason why Judas Iscariot was not saved (Matthew 26:14-30)
The Son of Man goes as it is written about him, but woe to him who betrays him, for it would have been better for him if he had not been born (Matthew 26:24). After three years of public activity, Jesus was crucified and died. In the third year, he went to Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover, and at that time, something happened that made the hearts of the disciples flutter. Jesus' disciples did not have a deep understanding of Jesus' Messianic work. They did not know that the purpose of Jesus Christ's death on the cross was to atone for our sins. I knew how to become a king like David and rule the world. I thought that Jesus was going through the same process as David suffered while being chased by Saul.
But there were signs that the trouble was over. When Jesus entered Jerusalem, he rode on a donkey, and a large crowd of people hearing about Jesus came out and waving palm branches to welcome Jesus. The disciples thought it was time for Jesus to ascend to the throne. However, only one of Jesus' disciples had an accurate picture of the situation. Although the other disciples of Jesus were from the countryside, only Judas Iscariot was from Jerusalem and studied extensively. And I was able to accurately grasp the situation in the world. Although Jesus was welcomed by the crowds, he knew that he would not become king and that he would face great trouble because of it.
