Old Testament
17 Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls.
18 I will rejoice in the LORD; I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.
19 The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he will make my feet like a deer, and he will make me walk on my heights. This song is set to my harp for the conductor.
new testament
1 At the hour of prayer at the ninth hour, Peter and John went up to the temple.
2 People who are born lame are carrying a man who is placed daily at the gate of the temple called the Beautiful Gate to beg from those who enter the temple.
3 When he saw Peter and John going into the temple, he begged.
4 Peter looked at him with John and said, "Look at us."
5 He looked to see what he might get from them.
6 Peter said to him, "Silver and gold I have none, but what I have I give you; in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise and walk."
7 He took his right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankles gained strength.
8 And they ran and walked and went into the temple with them, walking and jumping, praising God.
9 When all the people saw him walking and praising God,
10 When he found out that he was the one who used to sit begging at the beautiful gate of the temple, he was greatly astonished and astonished at what had happened to him.
sermon
Only Jesus is resurrected. There are many religions in the world, but the ancestors of many religions have all died and not a single one has been raised. Many intellectuals and many religious pluralists are repulsed by the word Jesus alone. It is also criticized as rude Christianity.
However, only Jesus can solve the deep and deep pain that engulfs humans. Jesus is the only savior. Only Jesus, the greatest enemy of mankind, destroyed death. There is no other Lord of life other than Jesus.
In John 4, there is a conversation between Jesus and a Samaritan woman. This Samaritan woman has already changed her husband five times. But Jesus said to this woman:
“Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again”. It is said that even if you change husbands and change husbands, you will still be thirsty. For the last 20 years or so, the big theme of Korean dramas has been changing husbands. Will Changing Husbands Quench Thirst? A deeper thirst is likely to await. “Whoever drinks the water I will give him will never thirst.”
Jesus is truly the only savior who can quench our thirst.
