Title Why Why (Ex 05:22-23)

Content The word Exodus means 'a record of leaving Egypt'.

The book of Exodus begins immediately following the Genesis record, and the record from Joseph to Moses is implied until Exodus 1:6-7. Joseph, his brothers, and all the people of his time died, and the children of Israel after that numbered and multiplied and multiplied and became very strong, and the whole land was filled. Later, a new king, who did not know Joseph, arose and reduced the Israelites to slavery.

The first time Israel went down to Egypt was not as a slave.

In a sense, he went down as a VIP. At the invitation of Joseph, who became the prime minister of Egypt, all the family members went down to Egypt to live in the land of Goshen. Jacob's family, Israel, lived in the land of Goshen, being treated with abundant food. Jacob went down to Egypt and lived another 17 years until he was 147 years old.

But why did he become a slave? Do you not wonder why Israel, who had been treated as a slave because of Joseph, was reduced to slavery?

1. Joseph and his family all died. (Ex 1:6) Families do not always stay with us. Where are all the heroic heroes who commanded the times, and where did Hwang Jin-i and Poppy, who boasted elegant songs and beauty, have gone? For better or worse, the people who ruled an era will all disappear with the passage of time. Who will remember his descendants? We want everyone to remember their longevity, wealth, and wealth for a long time, but unfortunately, that doesn't happen.

Rather, people say, 'Enemies are carved in stone, but grace in water'.

2. A new king who did not know Joseph appeared. (Ex 1:8) The new king thinks that the people of Israel are more numerous and stronger than our Egyptians. So let's set up a bishop and put a heavy burden on them. From then on, he began to build a fortress for Pharaoh. This is how slavery began.

3. Because of God's covenant. (Genesis 15:) God's covenant with Abraham is not one or two things we are curious about. Especially with regards to his son. Genesis 15 records about heirs.

Abraham intends to take Eliezer, his old servant, as his heir, but God has promised to give him as many children as the stars in the sky. At that time, people knew that there were 1,200 stars in the sky. Not only that, but God also promised to give the land of Canaan. Abraham asked how I could verify that. Here God presented a strange method.

Van House recorded this God's answer in his commentary as 'as if the radio had been dialed to another program'. At least, it revealed that there is a limit to our rational judgment.

In our Bible, there are three legally binding contracts.

To have a covenant with blood (Gen. 15:10, Jer. 34:18-19) A covenant with shoes (Ruth 4:7,8) To have a covenant with salt (Numbers 18:19, 2 Chron. 13:5)

God commanded Abraham to prepare three kinds of three-year-old beasts.

They were cows, female goats, rams, and young turtles and pigeons. Abraham split all the beasts in two. But the birds did not split. In Genesis 15:17 we find this sentence:

'When the sun went down and it was dark, a smoking furnace was seen, and a burning torch passed through the pieces of meat.' The burning torch here is another expression of the appearing of God. God spoke to Moses in the midst of a burning thornbush. (Ex 19:18) In documents found in the great city-state Mari on the Euphrates River in the 1700s B.C., the phrase 'Cut animals' was found between A and B when signing a contract.

This is a symbol of a curse, which means that if either of them is weak, they will die like this beast. The Bible verse that can testify to this is recorded in Jeremiah 34:18-19.

Abraham fell into a deep sleep just before God's presence. He was busy chasing kites until he fell asleep. But while he was asleep, God passed through the bloody fish alone. In this we confirm that God's covenant is unconditional and cannot be subject to any other conditions.

However, here God gives seven prophecies to Abraham.

The descendants of Abraham will be strangers in the Gentiles. (Ge 46:2-4) They will be slaves in the land. (Ex 1:7-14) This slavery will continue for 400 years. (Ex 12:40) God himself will chastise the nation that enslaved Israel. (Ex 7-12) Abraham will be excluded from all these prophecies. (Ge 25:7,8) After 400 years Israel will return to Canaan. (Ex 6:16-20) Israel will come out of Egypt with great wealth. (Ex 12:35,36)

In the midst of a burning torch, God made a covenant with Abraham.

However, we know that the covenant is a good thing, but the question still remains as to why He is speaking of such a terrible covenant. Why is that? What is the reason?

After Abraham had prepared all the sacrifices, what went wrong? Was there anything that was not reconciled with whom? Was it because his hands were full of blood and he worshiped God abominably, as the prophet Isaiah rebuked? Did he bring only half of the sacrifice, or did he lack the blood of a separate beast?

An important obstacle that appeared in Abraham's sacrifice was the 'Kite'.

The kite rushed in as sheep to eat the carcass instead of God. What is a kite to us believers A kite quietly attacks during the prayer time of the saints. When the saints are listening to the Word, the kite silently attacks. Even when you are preparing an offering before God, a kite flies. Cain could not drive out this kite. Neither Judas Iscariot nor the Pharisee could pursue this kite. If we do not drive this evil kite out of our sacrifice, our sacrifice will surely be ruined.

These kites are the evil spirits of heaven. They are the rulers of the air. They are subordinate to the wicked. This kite always only messes up the church. It always drives God's children into poverty. If we win our sleep and drive out these kites, we won't be offended.

The Book of Exodus is a record of Israel's slavery, its salvation, and their attitude toward God. In the book of Exodus, we learn the necessity of salvation, the method of salvation, and the consequences of God's will that accomplished salvation. There is a more concise summary of these contents, which is Ephesians 2:1-10 of the New Testament.

Moses is a servant specially set apart by God for the salvation of Israel.

He was born the son of a Hebrew people. However, Moses spent 40 years in the hands of the princess of Pharaoh, king of Egypt. After another 40 years in the Wilderness of Midian, we do not know how desperately Moses was. Following the will of God speaking from among the burning thorns, Moses entered the land of Egypt with a sense of mission.

Moses said before Pharaoh.

?et my people go, says the LORD, the God of Israel. They will keep a feast before me in the wilderness.??Pharaoh laughed at this saying, 'Who is the LORD?' The question is whether there is a god stronger than me.

The God of the Hebrews has appeared to us. Go about three days' journey into the wilderness, and let us make a sacrifice. In response to this, the king of Egypt said to Moses and Aaron, 'Why are you letting the people play?' Not only was he given no straw, but the same number of bricks as before were ordered to be baked.

The Israelites went to Pharaoh and protested, how could this be done.

At that time, such protests were possible. However, Pharaoh gave a solemn command to Israel. 'Now go to work!' Moses is now standing in front of Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, at the command of God.

But what you need to hear is not to budge. Rather, it is tormenting God's people. In the past, I still gave him some straw and made him work. Now, not only do they not give you straw, but they also ask you to make bricks of the same quality and the same number of bricks as when you brought straw and supplied straw.

I tried to remove the hump ... but rather, it is like adding more hump.

It is deplorable that Moses felt as a leader when he thought that doing things for the people would inflict a heavier punishment on the people. Moses said to God: Lord, why have you made this people oppressed, and why have you sent me?

Now, he was trying to lead the people according to God's command, but everything was not going as he wanted. How wonderful it would be if everything in the world could go as expected. Who would see a world like this and say that it was vain? Solomon, who lived in wealth and glory, was 'vanity and vain' toward his life. said.

Politicians want to lead the country as well as politicians do, but the problem is not resolved as if they are stuck in a swamp. People refer to yangki as the 9th dan of politics.

It sounds like a name given to him because of his long political experience, but there is nothing like politics or economics.

The National Assembly is closed, and newspapers, radio, and TV are full of Olympic broadcasts and entertainment programs. The propaganda of Christianity is great, saying that the 10/28 rapture rumors and rumors of the rapture are falling apart, and the other side is holding a large rally in Yeouido. What are we really doing in this situation?

Moses 'returned to the LORD and told him.' (Exodus 5:22) 'Why have you made this people oppressed, and why have you sent me?' They are making this appeal because they are more abused and God does not carelessly help them.

God responded to this Moses.

'Now you will see what I am doing to Pharaoh!' Exodus 6:1 (Hallelujah!) God's salvation begins with human renunciation. God's arm moves when we think we can do nothing. So now let us all go to God and tell him ! Let's appeal to him. And let us look to the saving power of God.

The God of Israel lives yesterday, today, and forever.
