# Title: With the Lord Text: Exodus 12:1-10

Who you accompany with is an important factor in determining success or failure in life. In Exodus 11 and 12, the Passover event is mentioned. The Passover is an event that the people of Israel should commemorate for the rest of their lives on this earth. This is because the history of Israel begins with the Passover. The Exodus event is important because there is the Passover. The Passover is a very valuable lesson for us living in a world full of events, accidents, pain and trials. That my life can be divided into blessings and curses depending on who I start with, with whom I walk, and with whom I live. So God said to Moses: Exodus 12:2 “Let this month be the beginning of months for you, the first month of the year.” What does this mean? The Passover is to be the first month of the year. This is a meaningful message to start the year with the Lord. It is to be with the Lord when you start your life. This is where life's success and failure, blessings and curses, peace and suffering depend.

1. Because we can overcome the world when we are with the Lord.

Ten plagues fell upon Pharaoh and his people to bring the Israelites out of Egypt. But even when he performed the nine plagues, Pharaoh did not move. Pharaoh, who was strong and could not overcome even with the nine plagues, was able to defeat Egypt through the blood of the Lamb. Saints! There are so many things in the world that we cannot overcome by any means and methods. But for those who are with the Lord, they cannot be a hindrance. Because the Lord gives us prosperity. 2 Corinthians 2:14 “Thanks be to God, who always triumphs over us in Christ, and through us in every place the smell of the knowledge of Christ.” God is always the one who triumphs over us in Christ. So, who should we accompany in our lives? Wrong companionship causes great damage and suffering to us. Proverbs 13:20 says, “Whoever walks with the wise finds wisdom, but associates with fools and suffers harm.” Who are you traveling with?

2. Because you are the safest when you walk with the Lord.

3. Because the way is opened when we are with the Lord.

The way of the Exodus, which had been tightly closed, was opened through the sacrifice of the blood of the Lamb. No matter how hard people tried to open it, the door of the Exodus was not opened. But the sacrifice of the Lamb opened the door to the Exodus. After the sacrifice of the Lamb, the Israelites began their exodus from Egypt. No matter how hard Moses tried, it didn't open. No matter how much the Israelites longed for it, it was not opened. However, the door of the Exodus was opened because the Lamb was sacrificed and sprinkled with blood. The sacrifice of Jesus Christ opened the door for us to come to God. The sacrifice of Jesus Christ opened the way for us to be saved. The sacrifice of Jesus Christ opened the way for us to go to heaven. Dear saints, A life with the Lord is the happiest, safest, and most blessed life. Today, you must become one with the Lord. To do that, I want you to think about what I am going to do. I need to think about what the Word given today is asking of me.
