Title Without Love (1 Corinthians 13:1)

without love

1 Corinthians 13:1-7

In the book of [Erich Fromm], love is defined in five ways. First, they say that love is about caring. Among the many people we meet, there are people who take special interest, and this can be seen as the beginning of love. Respect is to meet someone and acknowledge and elevate that person's position, and this respect is love. Third, he said that love is understanding. By the way, the word “understanding” is called “understand” in English. It means 'to stand under'. This word has a deep meaning. what do you mean? It is an important saying that the most correct understanding can be achieved when you lower your position with humility and look at the other person. Fourth, he said that love is taking responsibility. In order not to be deprived of their position and authority, people insist on rights rather than duties. But true love is taking responsibility for the task entrusted to you, and this responsibility is love. And lastly, it is said that love is giving. We must know that love is about giving before receiving.

There is an article in the works of [Hermann Hesse]. When a child is born, an old man appears and asks the baby's mother a wish for the baby. At that time, the baby's mother said, "Please help this child grow up to be loved by everyone in the world." The child grew up and really loved everyone. However, as he grew older, this child only knew how to be loved, but did not know how to love, and became more and more arrogant. One day, when she was depressed and deeply troubled, her mother, who happened to meet an old man again, earnestly grants her a wish. “I have one wish. Please, please. This is the story of a wish that I wished again, “Please make my child a person who knows how to give love rather than to be loved.”

It is important to know that the secret of love is greater in giving than receiving. Therefore, love is much happier to give than to receive.

Surely love is important in life. Love is needed, but true love is even more so. A person cannot live without being loved, and cannot live without affirming love. The problem is that we must confirm, know, realize, feel, and appreciate that love, and we must also live by giving love, but if this is not achieved, we cannot live. Even if we go through some difficult hardships in our lives, as long as love is certain, we can live and endure enough. Disease can also be defeated. But when this love breaks down, I am human, unable to find any more reason to live.

God is love. He continues to reveal love and wants us to become people of love. I hope it will be a time to ask myself how much I have known love, how much I have loved, and how much I have become a lover.

Now we too must examine our love. The year is already coming to an end, and I have to think about whether my love for at least one year has been okay. He spoke smoothly, but did he do it out of love? I shouted and took the lead, but was that love? I am proud of myself that I have accomplished something, but I can't help thinking about whether there was love. Was that love a reliable love? Was it useful love? Please check if it was true love.

Among the works of the famous artist [Luo], there is an engraving of the title. That's a really nice title. How much love is it that, instead of poisoning the ax blade that torments and inflicts pain on you, it rather puts incense on it?

Dear saints,

The Bible says, "Everyone who loves is born of God and knows God" (1 John 4:7). We were born in love, came into the world in love, and we live in love. And we are nothing without love to go before God in love. For the motives of life and the consequences of life, I hope that you will not be ashamed of your deeds without love, but live a life that is fruitful with love.
