Title: Prison Worship
Description: Motivation for being imprisoned / While going to pray, I met a female servant possessed by a fortune-teller and commanded in the name of Jesus to cast out the demons. However, there were vicious owners in the town who made money by catching these possessed women as bait and divination. When the money stopped, the owners gathered and arrested Paul and Silas and brought a lawsuit against them. As a group of Jews, I had no choice but to fight against the Romans. The superiors could not afford to listen to themselves, so they tore their clothes off, beat them with rods, locked them in prison, filled them with lockers, and gave them to the jailer.
Paul and Silas wake up around midnight and worship the living God of grace. I prayed with a hot fire. I gave praise to God that made my life tremble. This is the famous prison worship service.
Prison worship was a cool underground prison where they were treated like a swarm of beasts in a very inconvenient crypt. However...
One . There was prayer and praise.
Prayer is the greatest weapon God gives to believers. They have nothing, but they have the prayer of faith that can move mountains. Their prayers had great power. In other words, God heard their prayers.
Praise is the fruit of the lips and the confession of the heart. If your heart is not open, you cannot give a living praise. Praise of the saints is a great song that resounds in the heavens. Those who worry a lot about the world cannot sing praises.
2 . This prison worship was overflowing with the workings of the Holy Spirit.
* The work that God hears has taken place.
* Suddenly, a great earthquake occurred.
* The octet moved, the door opened, and all the chains were loosened.
What an amazing miracle history. Living prayers and the praises resounding in the heavens are able to release all our shackles.
3 . Prison worship had a history of salvation.
* The work of being saved by the jailer took place, and the work of receiving salvation by believing in Jesus happened to the entire family of the jailer. Instead of the prisoner kneeling in front of the jailer, the history of the jailer kneeling in front of the prisoner appeared.
* In living worship, even if the place is in prison, the work of salvation takes place.
4 . The prison service was so much joy.
It is the joy of being with the Holy Spirit.
It is the joy of being with the Lord.
Even the Gentiles who did not know God had the joy of praising God and believing that Jesus died on the cross.
Worship without joy and glory cannot be a living worship.
