Title Yes, No
These words teach us a valuable lesson.
<First> What should we do when our thoughts and God's thoughts are different?
I must strike my will and submit to the will of God. There is no reason or excuse before God. There is only 'yes'. When Jesus took up the cross, it was difficult to bear the shame and suffering. But after praying, not as I will, but as you will, He took up the cross. When we say “yes” to God, it is obedience, not obedience. I hope that you will become a Presbyterian Church that obeys the Word of God.
There are 4 types of people in the church in front of the word of God being proclaimed.
(1) Yes and yes, there are saints.
If it is the word of God, no matter how difficult it is or sometimes difficult to understand, he is a person who unconditionally obeys and obeys.
(2) There are saints who say no and yes.
You don't even have to die in the first place. I can't. That is why he is a person who repents and returns after walking the path of disobedience.
(3) There are church members who say yes yes and no no.
When you go to church diligently and receive the Word, say Amen well. However, when you go out into the world and live, you are a person who lives without the Word.
(4) There are church members who say no and no.
There are people who do not accept anything they say when they hear the word. He's the same person.
<Second> In front of God's Word, there is only yes, but in the world, you must be able to clearly say yes and no.
Daniel and his three friends did not bow down when King Nebuchadnezzar made a golden image and asked all the people to bow down. They were prepared to die in front of the king's command and said no. In front of the world, yes, no, you have to live clearly. I hope that you will live by saying that what is right is right and what is not is no.
In the conclusion of today's sermon, it says that any number of God's promises are yes in Christ, so that we can say Amen through him to the glory of God. Amen is not an option, it is a necessity for God's people. A person who does not Amen after coming to church and living a life of faith does not acknowledge God. When you say Amen, evil spirits will go away. Win the war. Joy abounds. Fear and fear disappear. Those who say Amen will be healed from disease. When we say Amen, our lives are newly changed through that Amen. Also, the word "Amen" contains the meaning of God's promise, the promise to keep the covenant. In other words, it is a confession of promise that we will obey God's word and live.
