Title You can do anything!/Philippians 4:13
You can do anything!/Philippians 4:13
Key Verse: I can do all things through him who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13).
Word: On the first day of class, the homeroom teacher declared, “I will make our class a zero-attendance class for the next year.” When I first heard that story, all my classmates laughed. This is a vocational high school and only boys. Absences were as common as eating and going to the bathroom. But the class knew that the teacher's promise was not in vain. One day, when a friend was absent, the teacher called the student's house and had her mother attend. Eventually, that afternoon, the friend had to go to class with her mother. And the students in this class form a group of 6 each week to enter the shogi competition. Class events such as competitions were held, and thanks to this, the children's thoughts and attitudes changed little by little as time passed. Once the class started to come together, no one was absent even if the teacher went away for training. The absence was recorded. The teacher's promise was finally fulfilled. It was never an achievement for anyone alone.
Here is an example from a high school. How about us? Sometimes, like ‘a flock of crows without any discipline or unity, or such a military group, don’t you live a life of ‘separation and gathering’? God guides us with clear commands and teachings and His principles. We have the clear discipline and unity that the Lord has given us. We can wander without principles and not be swayed to and fro. Yet our will is easily broken.
The high school students in the story above were also skeptical and insecure at first, but the will of their homeroom teacher finally instilled confidence and a clear sense of purpose in them. Today is the time to confirm the goal God has given us and the confidence that we can achieve it. Let's do it. "If it is possible, what do you mean? Nothing is impossible for him who believes" (Mark 9:23) Let's start the day, yes, start the week and change the attitude of our heart. The Holy Spirit to guide my whole life Let's rely on the work of the Lord. With the power that the Lord gives, we can all surely fulfill the Lord's plans.
Prayer: Until the things you promised me come true, let my life, my family, and my community move forward with my hard work and the unity of everyone. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
