A beautiful church member without title
It is a title that makes you think a little more deeply about the meaning of the content. Last week, I spoke under the title of a beautiful church member. I wish I could remember some things. Just as there were five virgins who did not prepare oil among the ten virgins, there are likely to be unfamiliar members of the church today. A beautiful church always has a union because of its inner beautiful members.
I. First of all, what kind of church is the Laodicea church, which is made up of beautiful members?
Revelation is the only prophetic book in the New Testament. Seven churches are introduced at the beginning of the content. There are many scholars who interpret the transformation process that the church experienced when Jesus ascended to heaven prophesied until the time of the Lord's return. And looking at it, the Laodicean church shows the nature of the church of the last days.
II. Let us take note of the characteristics and characteristics of the Church of the Last Days.
1. The characteristics of the Church of the Last Days that are common throughout the Bible are all pessimistic and negative. All ten virgins slept and slept. Luke 18:8. When the Son of Man comes, will he find faith in the world? Churches can be many. There can be many church members. But Christians and believers are different. A church member is a qualification certified by the church community, and a believer is a qualification given by God through a right relationship with God.
2. Then, what about the Laodiceans? The first thing to note is the word of the Lord “spit it out”. To put this word more sharply, it means “to get sick.” nausea! nausea! When you think about it like this, you get a sense of something. Am I not a “nauseous” being who is not at the mercy of the Lord? endure. endure. You'll get nauseated when you can't stand it any longer. In what cases do you think our Lord is disgusting? Never been nauseous because of a whore. 3. Which church member vomited because of the Lord's displeasure? ① Matthew 7:21 Outwardly, it says, “Lord, Lord.” Those who did not follow God's will inwardly were rejected. The will of God here does not mean ethics, morals, or good deeds. It is believing and accepting the will of God who gave his only begotten Son. A person who has only a religious form and does not have faith, acceptance, will, or obedience in it will vomit out the Lord. ② Like the five virgins without oil preparation, those who have no spiritual experience at all. ③ Matthew 25:34 Those who practiced love together, but their motive was to love the Lord, and their purpose was not to glorify the Lord. ④ In Matthew 23, a person who is very pious, sincere, and lawful in appearance, and has nothing but hypocrisy. ⑤ Philippians 3:18 Those who enter the church but do not believe and depend on the grace of the cross and expect salvation in moral, good deeds and human terms are the enemies of the cross. The Lord is patient with such members of the church for a long time, but if they do not eventually turn back, they will vomit and throw them away.
Ⅲ. Then, what is the disgusting beauty of the Laodiceans who are the model of the church of the last days?
1. Verses 15-16 He said that it is lukewarm and it is neither cold nor hot, so it makes me sick. What this means is that it is not a state of being without discernment of good and evil, injustice, true and false. Then, what does the Lord want, whether it is cold or hot? Some interpret it as either a faith like the lotus like Stephen, or an extreme like Saul. However, the whole spirit of the Bible is that there is no intermediate state between darkness without light, death without life, and hell without heaven. The decision of both sides is a desperate matter, and there must be a decision from both ends. The Laodicean church is not able to do that. Specifically, Matthew 16:24-26 clarifies. This is because the true faith that stretches out by desperately holding on to the Lord with the desire for life like a fire is met from the ice-cold despair. This is because parallel lines never meet and must meet at the end in the opposite direction.
2. The reason for nausea is the reason in verses 17-18. The Lord is intolerant of self-proclaiming verses 15-16 and shouting loudly like verses 17-18. Seeing the loudly shouting church members, the Lord says that he is disgusted by life as a hard-going Christian, pitiful-little temptation but not overcome, Ghana-no spiritual experience, blind, naked-human beings' ugliness exposed to the blind and spiritual world. 3. Nausea. In verses 19-20, in our proficient church life, the Lord is actually being kicked out of that door, and it seems that the Lord can't bear it any longer and will vomit out.
(Conclusion) Our religious life is not about hobbies, culture, relaxation, devotion, ethical morality, or accumulating merit. It is the decision of life or death.
