A life not even worth the title count!
Contents
“Do not lean on man; his breath is in his nostrils, and what is it worth to number?” (Isaiah 2:22)
A human being created on the same day with the beast has only one more breath of God in its nostrils.
Therefore, although life is most precious under the sun, it is not worth a count to God. For this reason, he said, “Man is honorable, but he is immortal; he is like a beast that perishes” (Psalm 49:12), and also, “It is common in life; they all have the same breath, and as it dies, I also die, so that man is not superior to the beast. All things are vanity” (Ecclesiastes 3:19), and “before him all the nations are nothing, but he regards them as absent and empty” (Isaiah 40:17) and testified, “The earth’s He regards all the inhabitants as if nothing, and he does his will, with the soldiers of heaven and with the inhabitants of the earth. If anyone forbids his hand, no one can say, 'What are you doing?' (Daniel 4:35).
Thus life seems to be something in the world, but nothing to God. That is why the Bible testifies about life that is futile, saying, “You do not know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a while and then disappears” (James 4:14).
Therefore, in the testimony of our Lord Jesus, who was sent into the world as a human being, “But whoever testifies where and says, What is man, that you think of him; It is recorded.
A day-to-day life! Life like a mist that comes and goes for a while! I live for suffering! A life not worth counting! A life that has already died in the first Adam! A shameful life that I live by instinct like an irrational beast, born to be caught and killed! For this reason, when the Lord Jesus was a man, he exclaimed, “What is man, that you think of me, and what is the Son of man, that you counsel me?”
In the end, the love of God who loved the world so much that he did not perish the people who accepted the last Adam, who was given to him again, and made them become God's children to receive eternal life! We simply bow down before him and worship and praise him forever.
Therefore, it is written about that day in advance, “Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look at the earth beneath it; the heavens will disappear like smoke, and the earth will wear out like a garment, and those who dwell there will die like ephemera. will not be destroyed” (Isaiah 51:6).
Therefore, the new children of God who have received Christ do not wait for the life of the old creation. It is written, “The remnant of Jacob will be among many people, and they will be like dew from the LORD, like rain on the grass, and they will not wait for man, nor wait for life” (Micah 5:7).
Therefore, the Lord Jesus did not entrust his life when he was a man when he put on the body of the life below with the life above. It is written, “Jesus did not entrust himself to them, for he himself knew all men, and because he knew what was in men, he needed no testimony of any man” (John 2:24-25). ) is the same as Hashim.
The first life is not only such a vain life, its essence is a body of disobedience and wrath and sin. Therefore, unless a person is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
To the loving God who thinks of such people and exhorts such kindness, through Christ our Lord Jesus, be the glory and the power and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
“Truly, even the lowly are vain, and the high are deceitful; when they are weighed in scales, they are lifted up and lighter than breath” (Psalm 62:9) Thank you, Lord.
