All titles are Yours (1 Chronicles 29:1-19)

There are people who give a lot of devotion to the church or those who donate a lot, sometimes they want to be treated more or better by the church. Or there are those who want to have a sense of privilege or vested interest because they think they have sacrificed more for the church than others.
It is also true that the church sometimes gives such people a position or treats them better.
Because they are gifted more than others, it is only natural to encourage and appreciate those who dedicate their lives to the choir, playing musical instruments, or in any other field.
It is natural to feel grateful for those who donate more wealth to the Church of God than others.
However, it is really wrong to treat a person special because of such things or to have a special consciousness for such people.
According to today's text, David gave everything he had to build God's temple, generously and with pleasure.
Excluding what he gave as a king, the weight of gold he gave to God with his private property alone was 3,000 talents, which is a tremendous amount, equivalent to 102 tons in today's weight.
However, David does not show disdain as much as his fingernails or boast that he has done something even though he gives God so much wealth.
Rather, he says, everything he has "is from God, and is due to God, because it is God's."
“…everything in heaven and earth is yours” (verse 11).
"Wealth and honor come from you... and in your hand is the making and strengthening of all" (verse 12).
“...all things come from you, and what we received from your hand we gave to you” (verse 14).
"...All these things that were saved up in advance for the building of the temple are from Your hand, and they are Yours" (verse 16).
Everything we have in this world comes from the Lord.
It is only natural to give what is the Lord's to the Lord, but how can we show ourselves with such condescension and regret while doing the right thing?!
Those who give more should give more thanks.
Because God has given me more than others.
Those with greater talents (gifts) should also be willing to volunteer and give more.
Don't complain or force yourself, don't show yourself off or show off yourselves as a means of boasting, but humbly give thanks and give your talents to the glory of God.
It is because God has given us such talents.
If you have a desire to be treated or rewarded because you have talent and dedicate yourself to the Church of God, please put that mind away in the first place.
Even if you ask someone with special gifts or talents for devotion and give thanks, you should not do it at all in the church. It is a misuse of the purpose for which God has given each person a gift.
No matter how hard you study and invest, you must never forget that it is a blessing from God, not from your own efforts.
"Wealth and honor come from you... and it is in your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone."
If I can devote myself to the Church of God or donate material things, I hope that I can give thanks to God who has granted them all and give them with joy.
This is because that is the purpose of God's blessing of wealth and of various precious gifts.
