Genesis 15
1. After this the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram, for I am your shield and your exceedingly great reward.

6. Abram believed the LORD, and the LORD counted it as his righteousness.
7. And he said to him, I am the LORD, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land as an inheritance.
8. And he said, Sovereign LORD, how shall I know that I will inherit this land?
9. And the LORD said to him, Take for me a she-goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.
10. And Abram took all of them, and cut them in half, and laid them face to face, and the bird did not split.
11. When the kite landed on the carcass, Abram pursued it.
Hebrews 11
1. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2. The forefathers obtained evidence from this.
3. By faith we know that the whole world was created by the word of God; for what is seen was not made out of things that were seen.
4. By faith Abel offered a better sacrifice to God than that of Cain, and received evidence that he was righteous, because God testified of that gift. He died, but by his faith he speaks.
5. By faith Enoch was transferred so that he could not see death, and God had removed him, and he was found no more. Before he was moved, he received the testimony that he was a God-pleaser.
6. Without faith it is impossible to please him, for he who comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him.

Text: Genesis 15:1-11, Hebrews 11:1-6,
It is said that ‘man is the crown of creation’. So, according to Genesis, the record of creation, from 1:1-2:3, God's work for 7 days is completed. However, the record from 2:4-25 follows. This record is reminiscent of John 21:1-25, which is said to be the PS of the Gospel of John. The content of the Creation Knight's PS, 2:4-25, is for the human beings who were made in your image. It has two main contents. The first created the environment for humans (Genesis 2:4-17), and the second created relationships and institutions (Genesis 2:18-25). The first will be the environment and the second will be the family. The result was the harmony or happiness of humans who resembled the image of God as well as the Creator. Genesis 1 records ‘God saw that it was good’ (4,10,12,18,21,25,31), and chapter 2 records the satisfaction of two people (Genesis 2:23,25).
However, in Genesis 3, a serpent appears. It was the most cunning creature among the wild beasts that God the Creator made (Genesis 3:1). Of course, the snake appears as a symbol of Satan. It reminds me of what the cunning snake had a stomach ache. Eden's happiness. Eve, unaware of his cunning scheme, is taken advantage of too easily. A chaos arose in Eve's mind as he played with his pun. This is the situation before creation (Genesis 1:2). The chaos before creation disappeared through the Word of God. However, Eve, played by the cunning of the serpent, summoned the chaos again. When she heard the serpent's words (Genesis 3:1-5), the woman lifted up her eyes and saw the tree, and her disbelief in God spread her wings and led her to believe the serpent's words. In the end, they come under the control of the unbelief that came with the serpent's words (Genesis 3:6).
Unbelief in God's love for man caused the tragedy of Paradise Lost (Genesis 3:7-24). It resulted in the punishment of expulsion from Eden and no access to the tree of life. The tree of life was not discarded. God's loving consideration was also given to the treatment (Genesis 3:21,22). The thirst for eternity that all human beings have (Ecclesiastes 3:11) will be nostalgia for our lost share. The tree of life that the wise man spoke of (Proverbs 3:18), the life that the Lord spoke of (John 10:10; 14:6; 20:31), and the fruit of the tree of life of Revelation (Revelation 2:7; 22:2) makes you think How can we recover the grace of the tree of life? It is by having faith through the word of Christ (Romans 10:8-10,17).
Abraham, the father of faith, is also recognized righteous by hearing the word of God and having faith (Genesis 15:1-11). So, ‘faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen’ (Hebrews 11:1), and it is the image that God is pleased with (Hebrews 11:6). The secret to the restoration of Paradise Lost is the restoration of faith. This is why it is necessary to practice the life of keeping God's word in our hearts and confessing it with our mouths (Romans 10:8-10) through listening, reading, and recitation. The ‘every fruit of the tree of the garden’ (Genesis 2:16) that God has given to mankind is to regain lost happiness. And it is also the way to eat from the tree of life (Genesis 2:9), which was forbidden at that time. All these graces are included in eternal life (John 3:16) that comes from believing in Jesus as the Christ. The Lord's words, "Let it be done according to your faith" (Matthew 8:13) are certainly the greatest grace in heaven and in heaven. However, we must not forget that it is grace and judgment at the same time.
