Old Testament
10. And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes and saw that the Egyptians had come after them; and the children of Israel were very afraid and cried out to the LORD.
11. And they said to Moses, "Do you bring us up to die in this wilderness, because there are no burial places in Egypt? Why did you bring us out of Egypt and do this to us?"
12. Isn't this what we said to you in Egypt, saying, "Leave us alone, and we will serve the Egyptians." It is better to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.

13. Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will work for you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again."
14. Yahweh will fight for you; be still.
new testament
10. I rejoice greatly in the Lord, for what you thought of me now sprouts again, and you also thought about it, but there was no opportunity
11. I am not speaking because I am in need; I have learned to be content in all circumstances.
12. I know how to be humble, and I know how to abound. I have learned the secret of being able to meet both satiety and hunger, abundance and want
13. I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

Have you ever been in a desperate situation? Have you ever felt stuck in a corner and unable to move? Did you see no way out? If so, we can understand the plight of Israel trapped between Pharaoh and the Red Sea. They were stuck in a situation where they couldn't make a mistake and died.
But their plight did not defeat them. Because God was with his people, and God was their savior. What happened when they believed in the God of salvation? What could we experience today if we believed like them?
1. Overcome fear. When the Israelites led their families out of Egypt, they were overjoyed. But that joy soon turned to fear, for the Red Sea in front was blocking the way, and Pharaoh's army was behind them. But Moses urged them to believe in God and not be afraid.
2. He takes a break from his work. Moses tells the people, “Do not be afraid; stand still.” When people panic, they panic and do not know what to do, so they try to do this and that. But God tells us to stand still. The believer will enjoy rest and peace.
3. We see the hand of God working for us. “Look at the salvation He will work for you today.” There is nothing impossible in God's work. God is still working for us today. Those who believe in the God of salvation will see salvation. Our job is to praise the Savior.
When faced with a desperate situation, everyone wants to go back to the past. The Israelites also said that life in Egypt was better. But God is not pleased with our return to our old life. God has prepared a new, better and freer life beyond the Red Sea. Let's walk on the path the Lord has laid out by faith and cross the Red Sea and go forward.
