Conditions for using the title (Judges 16:28-30)

Historically, the strong are often the losers. Among Chinese historical novels, there are probably many who have read Chohanji. This story, which revolves around the struggle between Hang Yu and Liu Bang for hegemony over the world, is loved by many people due to its grandeur and dramatic elements. As you can see from the origin of the phrase “reverse divergence of energy” from Hang-wu, Hang-wu was a hogul who had no opponent in the world in terms of his bravery and ingenuity. In addition, he had a first-class staff named Beom-jeung (范增) and many generals who were unparalleled in bravery, and he had a large army under his command that no one could surpass.
Judging from these external conditions alone, it seemed natural that after the fall of the Qin dynasty, Xiang-yu would rule as a loser under the world, but Hang-u was defeated in the battle with Liu and committed suicide at a young age. Despite his superior military power, later historians variously analyze the cause of Hang Yu's defeat in the battle with Liu. As always, the stronger the person, the more likely they are to believe in themselves too much and fail.
Even in the Bible, there are many cases where strong people become losers. First of all, Samson. He was the most powerful man in history. However, he fell into the temptation of a weak woman, his eyes were plucked out, and his life turned into a millstone. Also, the pronoun of a strong man in the Bible is Goliath. He was a trader who had no competition with ordinary people in terms of physical condition or weapons. However, he is killed by a slingshot thrown by the boy David.
A trap that people tend to be deceived is to think of people with power as if they had no loopholes. However, the stronger the person, the bigger the loopholes. The weakness of those with strong powers is that they are other than that. In the end, he collapsed so absurdly because he trusted himself too much. We all know the story of the Trojan Horse. The impregnable Trojan eventually collapses because of a single horse, not because of the horse, but because they trusted themselves too much.
Samson ruled as a judge of Israel for 20 years. There was nothing he lacked, and there was nothing he couldn't do. But Samson was always the one who made trouble for himself. The problem started with you, not someone else. Samson had supernatural powers and God worked in him. But he is a man who has caused all sorts of problems on his own through time.
First of all, Samson's human flaw is that he is improvised and uncontrolled. We can discover some pitfalls that bring us down through Samson's life. This is human nature that ruins people even today, so we have to be careful. Samson seems like a person who builds walls against temperamental patience. Samson doesn't think deeply. Always, Samson got angry so easily and showed his anger. There are many people like this other than men. Cain was such a person. Lamech, Abnon
So Samson kills people very easily and breaks things easily. He killed 30 men for clothes and set fire to uncut fields of grain. And he went into a fight and killed a thousand men. This attitude prevented him from fighting for the rest of his life, and fighting was the backbone of his whole life.
The value men should have is to overcome living as they please. It is to ensure that the forces you have are not used for destructive purposes. Power is destructive, and when it begins to be used, it destroys holiness in itself. (1 Timothy 2:8) “Therefore, I want men everywhere to raise up holy hands in prayer, without anger and strife.” In order for men to have holy hands when they do not use their strength in anger and strife.
Here is the man contrasted with Samson. Joseph was Mary's husband. Joseph learns that his betrothed Mary is pregnant. It was not really in a position to have a water fire. But Joseph thought deeply. And I wanted to hang up. It was here that God sent an angel to Joseph and gave him some really amazing news.
Second, Samson was improvised in what he heard. Samson listened to his bad friends. They didn't listen to their parents. The parents tell Samson: Samson said to his parents, "Why do you want to go to an uncircumcised Philistine and get a wife because there is no woman among your brothers' daughters or among my people? I said I liked it and wanted to bring it. Samson didn't give much thought to the words of his parents. Here is the pitfall.
The most precious circumstance for a man to lead a godly life is to get a wife with deep faith. Therefore, Abraham, the father of faith, took Rebekah from his hometown and adopted him as his daughter-in-law. There are many women in the world, but the woman who fears the Lord is superior to all women. These words are the confession of Solomon, who lived with a thousand women during his lifetime.
In the end, Samson falls into the temptation of Delilah and dies. When the Bible expresses the bosom of a harlot, it is said to be the seat of death. That is why he compared the young man following the harlot, like a cow being led to the slaughter. If I don't hear what I ought to hear, I end up hearing what I shouldn't hear. If you look at history, people who always perish don't hear what they should hear, but on the contrary, they hear what they shouldn't.
Third Samson's prayer was a late prayer.
Samson never prayed much. There is no prayer except that he prayed when he died of thirst and prayed on the spot where the pagan temple was demolished at the last banquet. Here we see that Samson's prayer is a prayer of repentance. Samson may have thought that there was no need for prayer unless he encountered something really difficult.
So are we. If you have the strength, you do not pray. I think of prayer as a means to make up for what I lack when I have no strength. However, prayer should be done with more power. That's because that power is used right away. The same is true of the Bible telling us to remember Jehovah in our youth. It is not that I should remember when I am old and weak, but that I pray that I can use it according to God's will when I have strength.
Believers should always pray first. This is important. In many cases, we pray after we have lost. There are many cases of praying after failure. But when you have it, you should pray. After Solomon became king, he prayed before he ruled the country. This is wisdom. A believer should pray before praying with regret for anything.
We should pray to God in our youth. There have been many times in my life when I prayed with regret. It is said to be a prayer of repentance. We do not need a prayer of penance, but we must pray for God's will when we are young. This is really important. If you look at the people who have been used by God historically, they are those who prepared their lives through prayer.
