Counting the grace you have been given!

Today, as the meaning of Thanksgiving Day is getting weaker, there are aspects that are neglected in the hearts of the believers. However, this is partly because the farmers who harvest the barley regard it as a feast of thanksgiving, and partly because of the faith that makes us forget the grace of God in our hearts. However, there is a clear reason for our people to know the meaning of Machu Thanksgiving Day and keep it.
Korea has distinct characteristics of the four seasons. And he gave them the fruits they needed for each season so that they could eat and live. In winter, He helped us overcome the cold of winter by eating grains grown in the hot sun in midsummer, and in summer, He allowed us to overcome the heat of summer by eating the fruits grown with the cold of winter. However, many problems are appearing as these crops are not cultivated due to economic logic. Although it is said that they are imported and eaten from abroad, the crops are quite different from ours because they are not grains that have passed through the cold winter. Most of all the problems we see are due to our disregard for the principles of nature. Therefore, the Korean people and the Korean church should observe the Thanksgiving Day by examining the meaning of Thanksgiving Day in particular and following the word given.
First, he told me not to forget that I was a slave in Egypt. The Hebrew life in Egypt was slavery. This life was so miserable. They were mobilized for restless forced labor. It was really sad and hopeless. It is God who saved them from slavery. Without God's grace, it would not have been possible to farm, reap the fruits, and keep the Thanksgiving Day. Therefore, he said that they should keep the grace of God who saved them in their hearts and keep it. Therefore, Thanksgiving Day is not simply a Thanksgiving Day observed by farmers, but a Thanksgiving Day to give thanks for saving us.
The second commandment is to count the blessings you have received and give a voluntary gift. The Hebrews were not people who lived by preparing food for tomorrow until they acquired Canaan as an inheritance. They were people who had to wander from place to place in search of food. However, God gave the land flowing with milk and honey as an inheritance so that we could eat and live by harvesting and storing fruit. All of this was a gift from God. It is to be thankful for each of these graces, counting them one by one. And according to the grace you have received, you should prepare a gift that comes out of joy so that you will not be stingy voluntarily.
Third, rejoice before God. It was all thanks to God's help that made it possible to keep the Thanksgiving Day. Therefore, in order to keep it according to the meaning of keeping the Thanksgiving Day, he told us to come to God and keep it completely by sharing. Invite poor people, such as orphans, widows and strangers, and Levites, to those who have no fields for harvest even when it is time for harvest to share and keep the things God has given them. All of us are a gift from God. And even if you are the owner of what God has given you, it is not pleasing to God to take possession of what God has given you. It is something we should enjoy together.
Saints! Count the grace you have received and keep the Thanksgiving Day according to the Word. Amen
