Text: 1 John 1: 8-10

We should not commit even a small sin, and those who commit a sin and are afraid that it will be revealed should repent immediately. God will surely reveal and judge all these things, even the secret things.
“There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed, and nothing hidden that will not be made known” (Matthew 10:26).
We cannot hide our sins.

Numbers 32:23 says, “Know that your sins will find you.” Job 20:27 says, “The heavens will reveal his iniquities, and the earth will rise up against him.” God knows everything. There is nothing that is hidden that will not be revealed, and nothing that is hidden will not be made known (Mark 4:22).
Proverbs 28:13 tells us, “He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them has mercy.”
There are three kinds of sin.
The first is a secret sin, which lies in the bones and has white skin.
The second is an open sin, the image of which is clearly exposed outside.
Here, the first sin is the corruption within, and the second sin is the outburst.
One sin steps into another, more heinous. For, if we do not do what we ought to do, it soon disappears from memory, and eventually we forget our duty, resulting in disobedience and rebellion.
The third and last is habitual and habitual sin, which is a poison and has a terrible poison that destroys the soul and body.
Sin has the property of making a person dull. When you first hold the hand of the opposite sex in a relationship, it is thrilling, thrilling, heart-pounding, ecstatic, and hot. However, the next time you hold hands, the intensity is significantly reduced. And as the number increases, so does it. So, if we live together for 20 or 30 years, it will become flat, dull, and insensitive. Sin is exactly that. At first, I feel scared, my heart is pounding, I can't sleep, and my heart hurts. However, if repeated, it becomes dull and numb.
If you put a frog in hot water, it will jump out. Because of the sensitive sense. However, if you put the frog in cold water and gradually light the fire, it will not jump out. because it becomes insensitive. Insensitivity is a curse We've been living like this for a year. That year passes. Let's repent of our sins before God, and let's not allow even a small sin in the new year.
But admonish one another daily, while it is called Today, that none of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin (Hebrews 3:13).
* Prayer: Merciful Heavenly Father, give us a heart of contrite, shunning sin, realizing that sin is always exposed.
