Don't be swayed by 3 titles
Do not be swayed by the three things in Exodus (62) (Exodus 23:1-3)
1. Do not be swayed by wind and snow
The rumors in verse 1 of the text mean ‘baseless rumors’. Gossip is a serious crime that undermines the basic trust of the community by slandering others. In particular, perjury in association with the wicked is a terrible sin, as it results in putting others into a terrible trap. Spreading rumors is one of the greatest strategies Satan uses to destroy communities and prevent the fulfillment of his holy vision. So beware of rumors.
What should you do if you are the target of rumors in your life and hear a slander? Then pray. "God! I hear this kind of bullshit. Hold on to my heart and keep me calm!” Hearing the rumors can be overwhelming at first, but soon come to your senses and grasp the essence of the rumor. In other words, don't be swayed by rumors as they are Satan's tactics to deprive your soul of your power and prevent you from fulfilling your vision.
2. Don't be swayed by the majority
God commands us not to follow the majority in doing evil and not to testify unjustly according to the majority in litigation (verse 2). When people are swayed by crowd psychology, they often go into evil ways. The subject of ethical and holy conduct is usually the individual, not the majority. So, if the majority's decision is not right, stand boldly on the side of the truth, even alone. The righteous minority is not a minor group, but a major group because Jesus is with them.
In Mark 5, while Jesus was surrounded by a large crowd, a woman suffering from bleeding touched the hem of His robe. Then the Lord spoke. “Who touched my clothes?” said the disciples. “I am surrounded by a large crowd right now, and if someone asks me who touched me, what do I do? It must have just touched it” (verse 31). But the Lord looked around to see the woman who had done that (verse 32). Even at this time, the Lord is looking for a person in the crowd who wants to touch His clothes.
Now when Jesus asks, “Who touched my clothes?” answer this. "God! The yoke of trouble and pain was so heavy and I couldn't see the way, so I put it on. We need God's comfort. Even this morning, hold on to God's hand and never let it go again!" While making such a confession, if you hold out your hand of faith and hold Jesus at this time, you will experience an amazing healing work just like that woman. As you live your life of faith like this, experience the deep and meaningful ‘singular encounter’ with God as the singular rather than the majority.
3. Don't be swayed by the sidewall
God commands us not to be biased and blunt when it comes to accusing the poor (verse 3). Some people take the poor side of the poor unconditionally, saying that the poor are pitiful. That's wrong too. God's will is not to be on the side of the rich or the poor, but on the side of the truth. So do not pervert justice with your lowly sentimental sympathy for the weak or the poor, but always be fair and impartial. Leaders need to be fair in everything and be stricter in the management of their relatives. Fairness and fairness are a prerequisite for leadership.
One of the longest lasting dynasties in the world is the Lee dynasty of Korea, which lasted 519 years. Sometimes there was a moment of crisis in the dynasty, so Yeonsangun was driven out by his servants by Jungjong Banjeong, and Gwanghaegun was also driven out by Injo Banjeong. However, the newly ascended to the throne was not the Kim clan, the Park clan, or the Lee clan in the main building, but the Lee clan with the dynasty's rule, so the dynasty could be maintained for a long time.
According to historians, the biggest reason that such a miraculous situation, which is rare in world history, could have occurred was because of strict relative management. The kings of Joseon usually stayed away from the outside world, and close relatives were not allowed to play in the past, so they could not hold office. Because of such thorough management of relatives, there were many people in the royal family who were living in difficult circumstances. Such thorough kinship management is a prerequisite for a good leader. When a leader is fair in everything, there will be no history of disconnection, and the work of grace and blessing will continue throughout his life.
