Subject: Don't Worry phone scam

Last Tuesday, I was watching Canadian TV for a while, and there were some Korean people and Korean words coming out, so I took a closer look and found that there was a Korean special for about 15 minutes. The content was praise and respect for Korea's success in overcoming the last IMF crisis and achieving today's victories. Watching that TV made me feel proud as a Korean again.

Ladies and gentlemen, just a few years ago, Korea suffered national bankruptcy, resulting in numerous unemployed people pouring into the streets and homeless people.

However, as the entire nation tightened their belts and overcame this crisis well, the economic structure became stronger. When I first experienced the IMF, I lived in anxieties about tomorrow, worries and sighs about today, along with complaints of resentment against the leader, but the IMF disappeared in an instant. has been done

Ladies and gentlemen, in life, we often encounter big problems and small problems that we do not want. And when that problem occurs, resentment, complaints, irritability and anger arise immediately, and as a result, life can be further destroyed and you can drive yourself into greater unhappiness.

However, just as the bankruptcy of the IMF provides an opportunity to revive the Korean economy, if we know that the problems we are experiencing will make us more prosperous and happier in the future, our difficult reality today can be a subject of great gratitude. .

Everyone, do you know the word 'Don't Saeong'?

Once upon a time, there lived an old man [an honorific word for an old man] in the fortress [border] region of northern China, and one day his horse [horse] ran away to barbarian land.

At that time, horses were a huge asset, so the villagers said to Noong, "Oh, how sad are you?" And when I comforted him, the old man spoke calmly without any sign of sadness. "Who knows? Will this be a blessing?"

One day, several months later, the runaway horse returned with a barbarian steed. The villagers rejoiced and celebrated this event together.

But one day, Noong's only son, who likes to ride horses, fell off the horse while riding the barbarian steed, and broke his leg. When the villagers comforted him again, Noong spoke calmly, without any sign of sadness. "Who knows? Will this be another blessing?"

One year after that, when barbarians invaded in large numbers, all the village leaders were dragged to the battlefield and all died in fierce battles. However, it is said that Noong's son, Mann, survived without being dragged because he was lame.

In other words, what happened to me right now seems like a big disaster, but looking at it later, it turns out to be a phone call. Therefore, instead of grieving and resenting the current difficult situation, we should rather rejoice and be grateful.

However, if we know God's craftsmanship and God's power, and how much He loves us, there is nothing in this world that we cannot overcome.

When the deprivation and poverty of life approach us, there is the Lord of blessing who makes us richer. When the disease approaches, there is the Lord of healing who heals us and makes us stronger. There is the Lord of life who leads us to eternal life, and even if the devil destroys our homes in one way or another, the Lord makes our homes more beautiful and stronger because of that work.

Therefore, today's Bible tells us.

“Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you meet trials of various kinds.” (James 1:2) “Your sorrow will turn into joy” (John 16:20).

In the Jewish Talmud, it is written:

A rabbi was walking on the back of a donkey, carrying a chicken, a tent, and a lamp. We had to go a long way to reach our destination, but it was already getting dark and we were in a position to stay by the roadside.

Looking around, the private house seemed to have been far away, and I had no choice but to pitch a tent under a large tree and take a seat. I turned on the lamp to read the Bible before going to bed, but a strong wind blew and the lamp went out and all the oil was poured out.

He slept too early and woke up to find that the chicken that woke him up with a chirping sound every day was gone, and the donkey he had tied to the tree was also torn to death by wild beasts.

He began to secretly resent God when the essentials he needed during his trip disappeared.

However, after walking for a while, he arrived at the village and saw that the village had been attacked by robbers last night, and everyone was killed.

If the lamp had not been extinguished that night, and if the rooster and the donkey had kept screaming at the wild beast, the robbers would have come to hear the light and the sound and would have been killed as well. Because he was dead, the robbers did not notice where he was, so he could live. The calamity he suffered turned out to be a turnaround to save him from death.

Look at the people of Israel.

As they immigrated to Egypt for 430 years, things went awry. A new king of Egypt rose up, and he severely persecuted the people of Israel, forced them to work hard, and implemented a national annihilation policy.

However, the Bible says that the more the Israelites were abused, the more they prospered and prospered. (Exodus 1:12) And because of this, they cried out to God more and prayed, so it was an opportunity to escape from slavery in Egypt. that it has become

And if you look at their history through the Bible, when a large army of enemies invaded Israel, there was a great victory, and great wealth and strength followed.

Even in my case, I have experienced countless phone violations.

When I was in middle school, I failed the commercial high school exam, but inevitably entered the humanities high school, which gave me an opportunity to enter a university later. The fall gave me the opportunity to devote myself to prayer for a year, and the place where I was first assigned as an evangelist was a prayer center that everyone didn't want to go to. Rather, it gave me an opportunity to equip myself more powerfully. When exams or problems approached, it was sure to be an opportunity for phone violation.

Ladies and gentlemen, there is absolutely no way that God loves me so much that the problems that have come to us end with just a curse and failure.

Because our God never fails.

In the last days, the devil knows that his time is short, and he tries to destroy God's children without mercy. Trying to destroy our homes and churches.

However, if we depend on God to the end, the devil will fall into his own schemes and lose his mind. In other words, the act of cursing and destroying us becomes an opportunity to give us God's great blessings.

And later, my husband came back and started to pursue a career as a pastor.

To her, God was completely a God of subversiveness. And the God of this overture is your God, the God of me and all of us.

Therefore, no matter how great the tests and problems are, do not worry.

All of your work eventually turns into a phone call. Never doubt that the present problem is God's plan to use me more fully.

Of course, the present reality can be difficult.

But exclaim, "I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed in us" (Romans 8:18).

And believe it.

My current hardship is a phone call.

Because I have a God who makes the impossible possible. Because there is Almighty God who gives life to the dead and calls things that do not exist as though they were. And that he is my Father who loves me so much.

Today Heavenly Father speaks to us, to me and to you.

"Don't worry. It's a phone violation."
