1. Words that begin
However, such church members take seriously the words, “But Jeshurun was fat, and he kicked his feet; and you were fat and full and rich, and forsaken God who made him, and despised the rock that saved him” (Deuteronomy 32:15). You must listen.
2. Three young men of Judea who disobeyed King Nebuchadnezzar's command
Israel turned away from God and committed idolatry and all kinds of sins, until it was invaded by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon and destroyed. At that time, King Nebuchadnezzar, a royal family or nobleman among the Jews, took Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah into captivity, handsome, and having all kinds of talents and knowledge and learning, and taught them all things in Babylon and made them secretary. They also changed their names in a Babylonian way, Daniel as Belteshazzar, Hananiah as Shadrach, Mishael as Meshach, and Azariah as Abednego.
The king knew that the wisdom and understanding of these Belteshazzar, Shadrach, Meshach and Azariah was ten times greater than all the magicians and magicians in Babylon. I made him see the governor's job.
However, King Nebuchadnezzar made the statue of about 24m high and about 2.4m wide with gold as if he was ruling an idolatrous country, and ordered him to bow down whenever he heard the sound of every instrument. He even declared that anyone who would not bow down and bow would immediately be thrown into a fiery furnace.
After all, there is something to be expected of those who believe in God. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego resolutely kept their faith in God. As high-ranking officials favored by King Nebuchadnezzar, they knew the king's stern orders better than anyone, and they knew the terrible fate that would befall them if they did not, but they never bowed down to the golden image.
In the end, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who had unwavering faith in God, were taken before the king.
3. Three Judean Youths Interrogated by King Nebuchadnezzar
King Nebuchadnezzar felt betrayed by Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who disobeyed his command, which he had always loved, trusted, and respected. On the one hand, about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who are blameless except for not bowing down and bowing down to the golden image, but only wanting to love, respect, trust, and trust in anything. I had a very bad thought.
So, King Nebuchadnezzar must have been ignorant of not worshiping a god or bowing down to the golden image while trying to calm his emotions and calling the names of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego one by one. He persuaded me and threatened to forgive me if I bowed down, otherwise I would immediately throw him into a blazing furnace. And like an ignorant dictator, if he threw them into the fiery furnace, he shouted out, "Where can a god rescue them?"
For Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, it was a moment of crisis where it was difficult to make a decision. Right before their very eyes, the fires of the bellows that will burn them to death are roaring. But, in reality, their serious crisis is not a crisis of life, but a crisis of eternal life. They knew that, and they made a very wise and courageous decision. “Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer the king in this matter. If so, O king, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the raging furnace, and even from your hand. Know, O Lord, that we will not serve your gods, nor will we bow down to the golden image you have set up.”
You don't have to respond verbally. It is meant to be shown through actions and actions of faith. And because the God they believe in is an absolute and omnipotent person who cannot be compared with any idols or gods, he is able to deliver them from any limb. What an amazing belief.
But the most surprising belief can be found in their subsequent answers. “Even if not, know, O king, that we will not serve your gods, nor will we bow down to the golden image you have set up.”
“Even if you don’t,” this very confession is really important. ‘Even if you do not rescue me’, ‘Even if you do not fulfill my will and wishes’, ‘Even if you do not give me the grace and blessings I want’, ‘Even if you do not satisfy my desires and desires’. ‘Even if you don’t do what I want or how I feel’, ‘even if you pretend to be ignorant so that I won’t lose you’. Even if “even if you leave me to die,” I hope you will continue to believe in and serve God alone.
The worst pain and harm that a person can inflict on a person is to take their life. However, God is the One who destroys not only the lives of unbelievers, but also their souls in hell. Jesus said, “Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul, but fear him who can destroy both body and soul in hell” (Matthew 10:28).
Please believe that God not only delivers us from our limbs, but He also gives us eternal life and heaven. Please do not cling too much to this stranger's life and enjoy eternal life with the hope of heaven given by God who saved us in the Lord. In reality, it is not my will to live and to die, but it is much better for the Lord to do it, isn't it?
4. Conclusion
2 Timothy 3:13 says, “The wicked and the deceivers are getting worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.” The world is deceived, deceived, betrayed, betrayed, and chaotic. Perhaps no life suffers more betrayal than God, who created all things, gave all human beings an irreplaceable life, and gave them all the grace and blessings necessary to live.
However, our God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, for such people. I hope you will continue to believe in and serve only the loving God at any time, any place, and in any circumstance.
