Raise your head even if you are rejected

Mark 10:46-52

Swedish gospel singer Lena Mariner sang Arthur's song to our country not long ago and wowed the audience.

He is a congenital handicap who lacks two arms and one leg. He is a miserable disabled person. He was a human waste that no one dealt with. No one rejected him. But he raised his head. But Mariner knew that his voice was mysterious. He knew that God had given him a special voice. I knew God's special grace as a mission. That is grace. So I started singing. A mysterious voice came out. People say when they hear the woman singing.

Mariner competed in the Para Swimming Competition and won four gold medals. Whatever he did, he was active. It was always happiness and joy when he realized that God had given him a mission. However, despite having such an ugly body, a handsome young man willingly set out to marry. So we had a beautiful marriage. He is still only burning with a missionary passion.

They have such a happy family. It is a model of a person who raised his head and lived proudly even when people rejected him.

Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, lived in Jericho.

Dimaeo means blind and Ba means son. So Bartimaeus is the son of the blind. So Bartimaeus was blind, and his father was also blind. It was a family of blind men from generation to generation. He was blind and a beggar as he was struck by the fall.

Bartimaeus was begging on the street when he heard that Jesus was passing by. So he cried out.

(47)

But many rebuked them. But Badimaeus shouted even more. Even though I was rejected, I raised my head. Bartimaeus never gave up.

Jesus heard Bartimaeus shout a second time.

(49)

Badimaeus liked it so much that he threw away his coat and ran away.

Jesus asked.

He answered.

Jesus said He soon saw and followed Jesus.

Badimeo raised his head even though he was rejected. If you look up even if you refuse, the following happens.

1. If you raise your head even if you decline, a re-challenge will start.

Bartimaeus saw it as a golden opportunity to be healed of the blind as Jesus passed by. So I screamed.

(47)

But many rebuked them. I begged him to be quiet. But Badimaeus shouted even more. Even though I was rejected, I raised my head. Then Jesus heard.

(49)

Badimaeus tried again. From then on, a new history began.

David did.

All the Israelites were trembling in front of the Philistine general Goliath. No one wanted to go out and fight.

David went out to fight.

The brothers ignored him and refused. When his older brother Eliab heard it, he became angry and ignored David.

(1 Samuel 17:28)

King Saul also refused.

(1 Samuel 17:33)

But David raised his head even in refusal. I had the belief that I could do it. And I fought. You won.

Success researcher Napoleon Hill said:

MacArthur and Wiston Churchill are said to have lived with the following text posted in their offices.

There is a reason why Chiang Kai-shek failed in China and was expelled to Taiwan. This is because the army of Zhang Gai-seok was so corrupt. They even made money by selling weapons to the enemy. Rejected by the Chinese, Zhang Gai-seok decided not to tolerate corruption after he was evicted to Taiwan. I decided not to make the same mistake twice. So we started fighting corruption. At that time, I heard that Jabu was in denial. I researched it. It was true. It's my pride birthday. Jabu received a gift box from her father-in-law, Jiang Gaesuk, opened it. There was a knife in it. I knew what you meant.

committed suicide.

After that, corruption disappeared in Taiwan.

Even if you refuse, if you raise your head and try again, the history of re-challenge occurs.

Body Mao did that.

David did.

It was Jang Gae-seok.

2. If you raise your head even if you refuse, the other person will start to acknowledge you.

Bartimaeus was rejected. But I raised my head again. I screamed louder. Jesus called him. You did not respond to the challenge and responded to the retry.

Raising your head will attract the other person's attention.

It happened in ancient Israel.

A liaison officer rushed to the commander and said,

The commander was momentarily furious and pushed to the top of his head. I was confused and didn't know what to do. Then the wife looked at the commander's husband and said quietly.

The commander was curious and asked.

said the wife.

At the words of his wife, the commander tried again.

You won. And he became a famous general.

Even if a righteous person falls 7 times, he must get up again.

Solomon said.

(Proverbs 24:16)

Solomon is speaking, but he does not necessarily mean seven times. Seven is a perfect number. A righteous person is one who never despairs even if he falls completely. The righteous are the ones who rise up even if they have completely fallen.

In the midst of this, the basis for not despairing is the belief that God is with us. So Paul said.

(2 Corinthians 4:7-10)

Icheon Ocheon Church was established in 1901.

He repented and worshiped outside the church window every Sunday in tears for two years. It is said that they worshiped in the snow, rain, wind and sub-zero weather. It is not something ordinary people can do for two years outside the window to worship without leaving the church. Later, he received the approval of all the saints and became a lay leader in the five thousand church.

Even if you are rejected, if you raise your head, God will acknowledge it and people will accept it.

This is a Talmud story.

One day, a fox from a good family and a fox from a bad family met on the road. A fox with a good family lined up proud of her family. At this time, said the fox, who was born into a poor family.

And he said it proudly.

This is faith.

Even if you refuse, if you raise your head and try again, a new history will arise.

Jean Fred Adler said:

No one could break Bartimaeus' stubborn faith in overcoming misfortune.

At the age of 20 months, there was a child who miraculously survived after being turned into a lump of charcoal in a chain crash on the highway.

Of course, all the family members in the car died. I survived alone. His whole body became sick and his face turned black like a lump of charcoal. It was like wearing a dark mask. After 50 surgeries, I was barely able to move. The unlucky young man's name is Joel.

Being able to move is now the first time in 18 years I stand side by side with the accident driver in court. Then he said to the driver.

Even though many people reject it, they proudly raise their heads and work hard.

Today we must be bold in prayer to overcome what our problems are. God will surely intervene.

3. Even if you refuse, if you raise your head, you will see the end

Bartimaeus raised his head when rejected. Jesus called. Bartimaeus' conclusion was to open his eyes.

In fact, if you look closely, Bartimaeus was more than just sitting on the street begging from passersby. He must have believed in him when he heard rumors about Jesus. Some speculate that Bartimaeus must have heard that a man named Jesus raised him crippled. Bartimaeus must have heard that Jesus had opened the eyes of the blind. He must have been waiting with the conviction that he would be able to open his eyes just by meeting him once.

Finally, the Lord called Bartimaeus. He took off his coat and ran away. Jesus asked.

Badimaeus replied.

Jesus said.

Bartimaeus soon saw and followed Jesus. Badimaeus came to the conclusion. Even if I refused, I was able to achieve what I wanted because I raised my head.

Ordinary people are rejected and it is easy to give up in frustration. But even if you say no, you have to raise your head and look at the goal. Body Mao did that.

There is a Talmud proverb.

There was a abbot in a famous monastery.

So many people came to him to make disciples. One day, a man came to me and said,

The Abbot refused.

But he asked again.

asked the abbot.

said the abbot.

So, the two of them got their organs.

The man was winning the shogi for a long time. It was an advantageous time. When he saw a monk before playing chess, he realized that he was truly a monk and respectable.

So I thought to myself this.

So he started to lose on purpose. The abbot, who was looking at him silently, told him to stop playing chess and said,

So, I became a good monk while studying at that monastery.

Even if you are rejected, you can achieve your goals by raising your head.

That's right.

Even if you say no, you have to raise your head. That model is the Badimaeo.

If you raise your head, you will be challenged again.

And you get recognition.

And you will see the end.

I want to shout once more.
