Therefore, the Word also testifies, “For here we do not have a permanent city, but we are looking for the one to come...” (Hebrews 13:14). The rulers will receive eternal punishment on that day. It is written, “But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and in that day the heavens will depart with a loud noise, the elements will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and all that is on it will be revealed. With holy deeds and godliness, look forward to the coming of the day of God and yearn for it. On that day the heavens will be burned and dissolved, and the elements will be melted with scorching fire, but just as he promised, we will live in new heavens and new earth, in which righteousness dwells I look to you” (2 Peter 3:10-13).

Therefore, now the peace he gives is not the same as the peace the world gives. All glory and all authority that will be destroyed in the world is now dung and excrement to the children of God. This fact, that is, for the children of God who walk the path of truth, there is a song of Zion. And there is also the highway of Zion in his heart. As it is written, “Blessed is he who has strength in the Lord, and whose heart is the highway to Zion” (Psalm 84:5). Amen, Amen.
So there is really nothing better than being on earth. A better home is soon to be in heaven. It is written, “They now long for a better homeland, which is in heaven. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, but has prepared a city for them” (Hebrews 11:16). Amen, thank you.
