Title: Faith Waiting for Time
We are usually weak at waiting. I don't have enough time to wait calmly and have faith. Therefore, there are many cases of hasty loss and many losses.
It is the same from a religious standpoint. Our hurried and hurried nature is well reflected in our faith. You have to see miracles quickly, and if you pray, you will have confidence only if the answers fall quickly, and the church needs to be revived quickly to be recognized as a church like a church.
But the Bible clearly tells us. There is an appointed time for everything... God's answer also says that there is an appointed time. And true believers are those who wait with faith for this appointed time of God.
There are times when we pray and wait for God to answer, but nothing happens. When that happens, we wonder what happened. “Isn’t it possible that God is ignoring my prayers?” “Did I do something wrong?” “Should I pray more?”
If I am a believer and have prayed to God at least once, these questions will arise. Through today's Word, we hope that we will find answers to these questions and wait with faith in the sure fact that God will never turn away from our faith and will surely answer in His time.
1. God's answer is clear and certain (verse 2)
If you are a believer living in a world where the wickedness and savagery of the world seem to continue uncontrollably, and where the wicked prevail and the flood of evil seems to flow endlessly, you will experience conflict at least once.
The prophet Habakkuk was also dissatisfied with this world at the time and appealed to God. “Why doesn’t God take any action?” A more detailed analysis of Prophet Habakkuk's troubled appeal, "Why is God indifferent to the cries of people of faith?" “Why is God insensitive to sin and suffering?” “Why Does God Use Evil People?” “Why doesn’t God punish the unrighteous?” “Why do the righteous suffer and the wicked prevail?”
The prophet Habakkuk boldly raised these questions to God in Chapter 1 and is now waiting for God's answer. Like a sentinel waiting to check the enemy's movements first and notify his allies quickly, Prophet Habakkuk waits for God's answer (v.
If the king's orders were transmitted only verbally to the people at the bottom, the king's orders would change a lot in the process of delivering them. And after going back, even the command is blurred. But if every word is not missed and is engraved on a tablet and read by everyone, all the people will clearly know what the command is.
The words of the Bible we are reading today are the clear and clear words of God. I hope that these words will be answered clearly and clearly in our lives.
Then, what is the clear and clear answer to the prophet Habakkuk who made a troubled appeal to God?
2. There is an appointed time for everything (v. 3a)
Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “There is a season for everything under the heavens, and a time for every purpose to be fulfilled.” And from verses 2 to 8, various examples are given to show that there is an appointed time for everything. This is not the time to push in the bath (laughs).
The words of God's first response to the prophet Habakkuk are, "This revelation has an appointed time, and the end will come soon, and it will not be false."
These days, the word seasonal fruit has become useless. Due to the development of agricultural technology and the improvement of greenhouses, it is a world where fruits are eaten in summer even in the middle of winter. But above all else, fruits eaten in season are the tastiest and most nutritious. Proverbs 3:11 says, “God made all things, and made them beautiful in their time.”
Fruits have the best taste and nutrition only when they are in season. Spring must be like spring, summer must be like summer, autumn must be like autumn, and winter must be like winter.
Everything in the world has a time ordained by God. It goes without saying that we, who are in God's image, also have a time set by God. It seems that we came to church by chance and received Jesus, but at the appointed time by God, we came to church and accepted Jesus as our Savior.
Realizing this is really important for the saints. When I was born on this earth and became a child of God, the time came and God called me according to the will of God. And at another time, God will do great things through me and I will see great glory. Also, if my mission is fulfilled, the time will come when everyone will return to the fine dust.
It is clear and clear that the Word of God has a set time, and that the word will surely come true when the time is right. I hope you become a saint who realizes this fact.
3. We must wait in faith (v. 3b)
You can see that most of God's answers require a certain amount of patience. Of course, there are also many immediate responses. Sometimes there is a scene where Jesus immediately casts out demons and heals them on the spot. However, most of God's answers require people to wait until those answers are fulfilled.
Even though God's response is delayed and we are delayed so much that it is frustrating, one thing is certain: God's Word is never false. Although the answer seems to be delayed, it will surely be fulfilled and fulfilled in due time according to God's perfect plan. Amen?
When our lives are difficult and difficult and we feel like God has left us, I hope that this promise of God, “I will never leave you and never forsake you” will be of great comfort to us. Why is it a great consolation? It is because God's promises, though slow, are surely fulfilled.
Therefore, believers must have faith in the Word of God, and even if the word of answer is delayed, if I prayed with faith, I must wait with faith for the word of answer to come.
In Psalm 88, when the psalmist was afflicted with a disease and suffered terrible hardships physically and mentally, he could not get out of that disease. In verse 14, he prayed with mourning, “Why have you forsaken my soul, and why do you hide your face from me?” do This prayer is also our prayer today.
But what we need to know is that God loves us and never forsakes those who love us, and when the time comes, He fills us with good things.
The weather is too hot. But that doesn't mean you can't bring the cool breeze of autumn forward. We have to believe and wait for autumn to come soon. Even the prophet Isaiah said, “Blessed are those who wait.”
Have faith in your trust in God! You must have full faith in the word of answer that God has promised. And with this kind of faith, we must wait for that time with hope and hope that all those words will come true one by one clearly and clearly.
Although the theory is wrong, Darwin, famous for his theory of evolution, established his theory after waiting 27 years with a single earthworm. Wait, but wait in faith with full trust! “Even if it delays, wait, and it will surely come without delay.” I hope these words will be words of great comfort to those of us who wait with faith.
4. You have eternal life through that faith (verse 4)
It seems that those who do not believe in Jesus on this earth, that is, the wicked who have a concept opposite to the saints who are children of God who are called as righteous people, will rather gain power and enjoy more blessings. Of course, the blessings of the world are not the last blessings we will ever receive, but for us who live on this earth, they are the things we envy.
That is why they are rather prosperous and enjoy more wealth and benefits, and on the contrary, we are the ones who accepted Jesus Christ, the King of kings, and became children of God the Creator. and sometimes fall into frustration and disappointment.
But God said to those of the world, "They are like toads in a fable with full belly and show off, they are arrogant, full of evil desires, and their desires are never righteously recognized by God." At the same time, another word from God proclaimed is, “The righteous live by their faith.” The word “live” here means to experience God’s blessings by being safe and enjoying the fullness of life.
Section 4 is summarized as follows: Those of the world, outwardly intoxicated with victory, will eventually perish because they are proud and rebellious, but those who trust in God, depend on Him, and be true to Him will indulge in eternal joy and joy in eternal life.
You cannot be saved by anything on this earth. Only by believing in Jesus (the definite article “he” refers to only one) one will be saved and can enjoy eternal life. In today's uncertain world, only faith has the power to overcome. I hope everyone wins through faith.
A young man who is not married has a woman he loves. I want to marry that woman. One day, I made an appointment with a woman to meet somewhere in the city. The young man waits for the woman at the appointed place. However, the woman does not appear 30 minutes after the appointment time. Not even a cell phone. Young people are worried. A suspicion arises, 'Is it possible that he is reluctant to meet with him and wants to not meet again?' impatience prevails. But he soon makes up his mind. The young man said, 'I love my lover. I trust her because I love her. It will surely come.’
In the end, as the young man believed, the woman arrived after 40 minutes. The reason for being late is that, on the way home from work, my boss suddenly asked me to fill out important documents, so the time was delayed, and the cell phone battery ran out at that time.
Because the young man trusted the woman, he was able to wait for her at the appointed place for 40 minutes, and the woman thanked the man who believed in him and trusted her and got married.
Saints!
Do you love Jesus? Then trust him!
Even though it may be delayed, I hope that he will wait with joy in hope, confident that his words will come true in due time. Those who wait and look with faith will experience double the joy they get as much as they wait, and the joy will last forever.
