The book of Colossians was written with the desire to live worthy as Christians by teaching the doctrines about social life (family life, work life) as a true Christian. The man-made method of salvation, no matter how wonderful it may seem, has no life and belongs to the earthly things.
What is above and of earth?
A true Christian must first be clear about the distinction between the above and the earthly. What does the above mean and what is the earthly thing?
It must always be reflexively discerned in the mind, in the mind. Depending on the purpose of business and study, they are divided into those above and those of the earth. Jesus was worried about the cross and the salvation of mankind, but the disciples were worried about ‘who will sit in the high seat?’ You should not think of yourself first, but the glory of God first. Don't think of yourself first, but think of the church first. Don't think about the benefits first, but think about the gospel first.
Why should we look for the things above and not think about the things of the earth?
This is because it clearly shows what the redeemed saints will pursue and live. In verse 1, “therefore” means that we would have been raised with Christ.
You need to understand the importance of relationships and relationships. Today, everyone, make a clear relationship. “What is my relationship with God? What is my relationship with Jesus? What is my relationship with the Holy Spirit?”
Because Christ died on the cross, rose from the dead, and sits at the right hand of God. Because we died with Christ and we live with him again. The old man died and the new man came to life.

We must live with Christ while we are on earth, not going to heaven. We must go to the bottom of the cross and live a life of death. After meeting Jesus in Damascus, the Apostle Paul confessed, “I die daily.”
To live with Christ is to think of Christ, to live like Christ, and to live for Christ.
We will die with Christ, rise with Christ, and appear with Christ in glory.
