for the title person
However, the words ‘servant’ and ‘sir’ are not compatible. The word that goes well with the word 'servant' is 'nome'. So, I think a servant should just be a servant, not a servant. But unfortunately, there are many strange things that happen today when a ‘servant’ becomes a ‘servant’.
What does a 'servant' do? In the end, I think it's two things. It is about serving the master with all his heart so that he and his family can live comfortably and happily, and faithfully obeying what the master tells them to do. Obedience and service... I think this is the most precious mission that God has entrusted to those who have set out to do His work so that His beloved children may live happily ever after.
If teachers at school see and serve students as children of God, both teachers and students will experience heaven. If the president, lawmakers, public officials, and the people see and serve the people as sons of God, the country will become a paradise.
However, the problem is that this is not as easy as it sounds. If we follow the example of service that the Lord showed us, we should be willing to wash the feet of our sisters and brothers, and to obey God even to death for the will of God, how easy is that?
So, I tried to imitate our Lord with the shallow thought, “If it is difficult to serve and obey completely like the Lord, let’s just try to imitate it… Then you will become like our Lord even a little…” doesn't seem to be
There are two things I want to say to you today, and I have mentioned one of them. The first is, as I said before, “Let’s all become ‘servants’”. And the second word I will tell you from now on is, “Let's live like the daughters of God.” that is. The people of God... They are servants who have to serve all their neighbors with their mission, but their spiritual status is God's precious daughters.
In the New Testament text we read together today, it seems that Jesus did not strictly observe the law, at least on the surface. You shouldn't work on the Sabbath, but cutting the ears of wheat became a problem.
So the Pharisees object. “You, why do you leave the disciples out because they don’t obey the law?”
Our Lord says “King David has been like that. Didn't David eat the bread that only the priests could eat in the house of God? People come first, survival comes first. If people are bound by the wording of the law even though they are in a state of death, who does the law exist for?”
People are important. It is important for people to live happily and well. God has allowed religion, the Bible, and the church so that I can be happy, you are happy, and all the neighbors living together can live happily together.
But if this is reversed, then the tragedy begins. When religion rises above people and tries to control, harass, and seize people, religion also rots and people become unhappy.
Not just religion, but all institutions, aren't they? Whether it be politics, economy, culture, or anything else, I believe that any system that makes people hard, takes away their freedom, or takes away their lives, is not worth existing. “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.” These words are just such a great prophecy of human liberation.
Saints! You are honored. The image of God, the person of God, is in you. We are all like God. Therefore, it is unconditionally respected. No matter what we do, whatever our educational background, whatever our economic power, regardless of such conditions, we are all worthy of the one fact that we are human beings.
Therefore, saints! Have a good life. Live happily, have fun, and have fun. As a child of God, live a noble life, a beautiful life, and a happy life.
Around us, our neighbors, looking at us, said, “That guy is so cool. it's nice to live I want to live like that too. I want to believe in Jesus too. I want to call God Father.” Please live a wonderful life like that so that you will automatically think about it.
That is what the Apostle Paul meant in Romans when he said, “Present your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice.” “Since we were told to offer our bodies as holy living sacrifices, let’s always go to church and live… If we can, let’s cut off worldly affairs and focus on church affairs…” That’s not it.
When I first met Jesus... I met Jesus while I was in college... At that time, while reading the Bible, there were words that were difficult to accept. “Whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” That is the word. “No, if I only live for the glory of God, what is my life… Is my life just a means for God…” I thought to myself.
When you encounter such a complex and difficult problem, there is an easy way to understand it. Is God our Father? So, in order to understand God's will, we have to approach the problem by thinking of God as our Father and My Mother.
How should children live so that parents can be glorified? Can you make a lot of money and let me travel the world? If you are bound by such thoughts, even if you embezzle public funds, I can make your parents travel the world.
But would your parents want that? True parents wouldn't want their kids to do anything... they wouldn't. Don't you just want my children to live happily ever after?
If we were to do it for our parents, what would we do? No matter how much you try, your child is unable to repay even one tenth of what your parents have done for you. There is no greater filial piety than that if a child grows up properly, becomes a true person, and lives happily ever after.
God is our Father and Father. When we become true people and live happily ever after, that is what glorifies God the most. Therefore, our daughters and sons of God have a responsibility to live a happy life together with all our neighbors who are sisters and brothers. That's enough.
Saegil Church, dear members. live like that So, show through your life how attractive Christianity is to our neighbors who are disappointed and hurt by the Korean church.
Evangelism does that. not in words. Do not do evangelism through words. No matter how flashy or logical you try to persuade, modern people will not listen. This is because the age of evangelism through words has clearly passed. Now you have to show it.
In order to do that, our members must live happily ever after. When our God sees us, he says, “Oh, what a good look… My daughter is so cool…” So please live a wonderful life like that. Our neighbors look at us and say, “Oh, that’s great. How can these people be so attractive? That's right, life is like that... I want to live like that too...” Let the words come naturally to you... Please live like that.
Then the church will automatically... again be resurrected as the salt and light of the world. You may lose some of your bloated body, but you will be able to regain your health. It is entirely up to me and you here, all of us.
May the grace of the Lord be with the saints.
