2012.2.5. Sunday Day Worship Acts 3:1-10 <Give what you have> Chan 94 There is nothing more precious than the Lord Jesus.

------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------

Acts 3:1 Peter and John went up to the temple during the ninth hour of prayer.

Acts 3:2 People who are born lame are carrying a man who daily puts it at the gate of the temple called the Beautiful Gate to beg from those who enter it.

Acts 3:3 When he saw Peter and John going into the temple, he begged.

Acts 3:4 Peter looked at him with John and said, "Look at us."

Acts 3:5 And he looked to see what he might get from them.

Acts 3:6 And Peter said, Silver and gold I have none, but what I have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise and walk.

Acts 3:7 He took his right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankles gained strength.

Acts 3:8 We jumped and walked, and went into the temple with them, walking and jumping, praising God.

Acts 3:9 When all the people saw him walking and praising God,

Acts 3:10 Knowing that he was the one who used to sit begging at the beautiful gate of the temple, he was greatly astonished and amazed at what had happened to him.

It is really sad to live with a disability from birth. There was also a person who had lived for about 40 years as a disabled person who could not walk. They cannot afford to live on their own will. Move with the help of others.

Today, this person went to work in front of the beautiful gate in front of the Jerusalem temple. If it's bitterly cold weather like today, the hips you're sitting on will be frozen solid in no time. This person who cannot move without help, the only way to survive is to beg.

1. What will you give?

This person with a disability that is unable to walk is crippled from birth. is a congenital disability. A person who has a hard time living with a few coins. With that money, they solve food, clothing and shelter.

Acts 3:6 And Peter said, Silver and gold I have none, but what I have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise and walk.

The apostle had no money. But there is only Jesus. “Walk in the name of Jesus Christ!” What people with disabilities want the most is walking. If you can walk, you can eat and live. What a blind man who cannot see wants most is to see.

Jesus often asks, “What do you want?” “I want to see”. Then “it be done according to your faith.” When such a declaration was made, the blind could see, the crippled could walk, the woman suffering from a hemorrhage was cured, and the leper became clean like a child's flesh. The crippled man asked for money. What would you give when asking for money?

□ If you had given money, it would have been of some help to your daily life with a few pennies. But there would be no miracle. He would have died after living like that for 40 years. What will we give these people?

2. Give Jesus

But the apostle gave Jesus Christ.

When Jesus Christ was given, the healing that the disabled most desired occurred. was completely healed. Jesus is salvation. In the name of Jesus, “He is the one who will save his people from their sins.” The work of forgiveness of sins took place. The patient experiences grace. I couldn't stand the thrill, the healing, the joy, and the mysterious experience.

We must preach Jesus with the compassion of the soul. All problems in life are solved in the name of Jesus. When you give Jesus, your dead soul comes back to life. Giving the name of Jesus makes the poor rich. When the name of Jesus is given, the captives of sin and Satan are set free from the truth. Those who are oppressed by death and sin are set free.

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, and has sent me to preach liberty to the captives, and restoration of sight to the blind, to set the oppressed free.

Luke 4:19 that the year of the Lord's favor might be proclaimed.

Give Jesus to everyone you meet. Give me Jesus, the spring water that does not run dry even when given! To the woman of Suga, Jesus says:

John 4:13 Jesus answered and said to them, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again.

John 4:14 Whoever drinks the water that I will give him will never thirst. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water springing up to eternal life.

We should give bread to the hungry, but the most urgent matter is the soul. A slice of bread right now will save a hungry stomach from hunger, but the fundamental problem of sin is a matter of the soul. If this is not resolved, there will be eternal punishment. Therefore, I bless you in the name of the Lord that you give me the name of Jesus, a name that does not dry out no matter how much you pour it.

3. Then what should we seek?

The crippled man asked for money. It's a very realistic life. We often talk about reality. But belief is more than reality.

Hebrews 11:1 Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.

Hebrews 11:2 This is how the forefathers got the evidence

When you ask for money, you satisfy your hunger with a piece of bread. If you prolong your life with just one slice of bread, it's over. The road to destruction is the road to hell. You can never be saved without solving the problem of sin. What should we seek? The devil told the fasting Jesus to ask for the hungry stomach to turn stones into loaves of bread. What does Jesus respond to?

Matthew 4:4 Jesus answered and said to them, It is written, Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

The logic of the world is that without bread, you will die. But Jesus lives by the word. The first thing to seek is the problem of the spirit. The problem of souls must be saved. When the soul prospers, the body prospers. When the soul prospers, all things prosper. When all things go well and the soul does not go well, that way is the way of the body and the way of death.

However, although the body lives as a beggar like Lazarus, even the soul will be saved if it goes well. This is God's law.

Will you save food, clothing and shelter first? Will you seek the filling of the Holy Spirit? Will you seek the work of the flesh first? Will you save the soul problem first? What will you save? If the problems of the soul go well, the problems of the flesh are simply solved. Need to seek heavenly manna? Should we seek earthly manna? This is the spiritual secret.

<Conclusion>

give what you have The first thing to ask is that our souls be well. If you ask for silver, gold, and money, you end up crippled. can't walk forever But save Jesus. Then you walk and run forever. I pray that the history of running around and praising all of your lives, and the history of good souls recovering first (*)
