Give me a title!
Contents Bible text: Luke 6:38 Title: Give!
The literal translation of the word "give" again is "subtract".
Let's read Luke 6:38 together.
Give, and it will be given to you.
Soon it will be buoyant, press and shake so that it overflows
I will give it to you
By the measure that you count
You will also be numbered again, Amen.
1. Take away my sacrifice for the Lord's work
2. Take my time for the Lord's work
3. Give away my body and my mind for the Lord's work
What faith is subtracting, not adding, for me?
Philippians 4:19 says, “My God in Christ Jesus
Fill all your needs according to your riches in glory."
Psalm 34:8-10 8 Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed are those who take refuge in him. 9 Fear the LORD, you saints, and those who fear him lack nothing. 10 The young lions are in need and hunger. He who seeks the LORD shall not lack in any good.
Jeremiah 17:7-8
7 But every man who trusts in the Lord and trusts in the Lord will be blessed. 8 A tree planted by the water will spread out its roots by the river, and he will not be afraid when the heat comes; his leaves are green, and he will not be afraid in a year of drought. It will be like a never ending result.
Isaiah 58:7-11 7 And give your food to the hungry, and bring into your house the poor
When you see the naked, clothe him; and avoid your own flesh and
Is it not that you do not hide yourself? 8 Then your light will shine like morning.
Your healing will be swift, and your righteousness will walk before you.
The glory of the LORD will guard you behind you. 9 When you call, I, the LORD, will answer you.
When you cry out, you will say, Here I am.
If you take away the yoke, the pointing of the fingers, and the useless speech from among you, 10 if you give your heart to the hungry and satisfy the heart of the afflicted,
Your light will shine out of darkness, and your darkness will be like the daytime. 11 I, the LORD, will guide you always, and satisfy your soul in dry places.
I will strengthen your bones, and you will be like a watered garden.
Psalm 37:22-26: 21 The wicked borrows and does not repay, but the righteous show kindness and give. 22 The blessed of the Lord will possess the land, and the one cursed by the Lord will be cut off. You set a man's steps, and he takes pleasure in his way. 24 He stumbles, but he does not stumble, for the LORD holds him in his hand. 25 From my youth to old age, the righteous are forsaken,
I have not seen his descendants begging and begging. 26 All day long he has been gracious and lends, and his descendants are blessed. Conclusion is again in the main text.
Let's read and pray together.
