Title: More Grace
Text: Matthew 6:31-34
This text is an important part of what Jesus taught in his Sermon on the Mount. In particular, he taught us not to worry about food, food, and alcohol, which are important in our lives. Wouldn't it be great if the chosen people of God could live in this world without worrying about what to eat, what to drink, and what to wear? However, the reality is that these problems continue to conflict from region to region and from country to country. What is the secret to solving these problems and living with God's increasing grace? How to overcome anxiety and live a worry-free life? First, let's learn about the kingdom of God and God's promises to those who seek His righteousness.
1. cause of concern
In this world, worries, worries, and anxieties never cease. All human beings suffer from food, clothing and shelter issues. But why did Jesus say not to worry? The first is that we do not claim our lives on our own because we are concerned. Second, because God knows and provides for all the needs of His children. Christians have a different way of living than non-believers. It is not about worrying and worrying about clothes, food, and spells like the Gentiles, but living according to God's will is the priority. However, you must not misunderstand God and lead a lazy and indolent life. Instead of worrying, seek God's help (Philippians 4:6). Those who rely only on their own abilities and take responsibility will live a life of worry, but those who trust and live in God will live a life of faith without worry. Those who believe in Jesus Christ have a heavenly Father. The father is responsible for the children (2 Corinthians 12:14).
2. Let's seek God's will.
It is important to determine your priorities in life. There are worries and concerns, but what do you need to do to overcome them and live a life of God's added grace? First, seek the kingdom of God. We should strive to seek the kingdom of God, rather than focusing on worldly desires or eating and living. The kingdom of God is the kingdom that God rules. It is a life of acknowledging and serving God as Lord and King. Then God will take responsibility. Second, we must seek his righteousness. The righteousness of God is obtained through Jesus Christ. The righteousness of God is the righteousness that is given to all, the righteousness of faith through faith in Jesus Christ whom he has sent (Romans 3:21-22). When we are justified by faith and live a life in which God's will is done through faith that leads to faith, we overcome our worries.
3. God's Promise
God knows all our needs. Our Eternal Father, the Provider of all things. God says “Tomorrow is to worry about tomorrow, and one day of suffering is enough for that day.” To those who seek the will of God, “All these things will be given to you as well.” promises God said, ‘Ask for our daily bread’ (Matthew 6:11). A person must eat the food of the body to maintain the life of the body. Not only that, a person must eat the food of the spirit to have the life force of the spirit abundantly. God wants humans to live a life that is full of spirit and body within the promise of God's grace. And all of this is accomplished through Jesus. He also provides for the needs of the flesh when we ask for the purpose of God's kingdom and righteousness. God's promises must be fulfilled in Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20). So, let us believe in our promises and overcome our worries.
