“When they came to Bethsaida, people brought a blind man to Jesus and asked him to touch him. But Jesus took the blind man’s hand and took him out of the village, spitting in his eyes, laying his hands on him, and asking him what he could see. And he said, "I see people, I see things like trees walking by." Then he laid his hands on his eyes again, and he looked at him, and he was healed and saw all things clearly. Jesus sent the man home and said, "Do not enter the village." Let us look again closely at this fact recorded as Mark 8:22-26).
It is also recorded that Jesus healed the sick, “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him” (Acts 10). :38) And it is written, “One day while he was teaching, Pharisees and teachers of the law from every village of Galilee, Judea and Jerusalem sat down, and the Lord’s power to heal was with him” (Luke 5:17). God was with us.
Jesus himself said, “He who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, because I always do what pleases him” (John 8:29).
However, what happened in Bethsaida is beyond human comprehension. As it is written, “When they came to Bethsaida, people brought a blind man to Jesus and asked him to touch him.” As it is written, Jesus “took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village” as it is written. If it was outside the village, it would be very inconvenient to hold the blind man's hand and go there. It is also a quiet place with no people outside the village. Of course, the people who brought the blind man would have followed along, but it is clear that something a little difficult to understand is happening.
And outside the village, he spit in the blind man's eyes. And “What do you see?” asked. To this, the blind man answered, as it was written, "Looking up and saying, I see people, I see things like trees walking."
And the fact is recorded, “Then he laid his hands on his eyes again, and he looked at them and was healed, and saw all things clearly. Here, first he spit in his eyes, and then he laid his hands on them (touched his hands).
Jesus opened his eyes twice to the blind of Bethsaida described above. First, by spitting into his eyes, he himself opened the eyes of the spirit he could see and said, “What do you see?” You asked. To this, the blind man opened his spiritual eyes and answered. Obviously, "I see people," but people answer, "I see things like trees walking." I see people, and they say they are “tree-like things” and they see them “walking.” As the tree walks, it is clear that the tree is already dead. As it is written, "Jesus said, 'Let the dead bury their dead, and follow me'" (Matthew 8:22).
Obviously the spirit eye is the eye that sees from above. So the blind man of Bethsaida also had the first eyes to see the spirit that Jesus saw, so he looked up and said, "I see people, I see things like trees walking." To look up is to “raise up your eyes” to see. Here are the written words to help you understand. It is written, “Steven, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven, and saw the glory of God and Jesus standing at the right hand of God” (Acts 7:55). I say to you, behold the fields, which are white for harvest” (John 4:35).
Those who have the eyes of the spirit to see like this are those who have been born of God and are truly blessed children of God. Therefore, the opening of the eyes of the blind of Bethsaida was also the opening of the spiritual eyes first, and then the physical eyes of seeing all things clearly. Then, in order to hide this from the people, Jesus sent the man into the house and said, “Do not enter the village.” As it is written, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart has conceived of all that God has prepared for those who love him” (1 Corinthians 2:9). Their eyes were opened, and Jesus gave a strict warning, be careful not to let anyone know...” (Matthew 9:30).
Therefore, all the words written in the Bible are the circumstances of God. God's case is about the Son. The Son himself testified about this, saying, “You search the Scriptures, thinking that you have eternal life, and these Scriptures testify about me” (John 5:39).
Paul, who became a minister of these words, as he made this matter of God known through the Holy Spirit according to grace, said, “Who knows a man’s circumstances except the spirit that is within him? In the same way, no one knows the circumstances of God except the Spirit of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:11) is testifying together.
Although it is clear that no one knows the circumstances of God except the Spirit of God, people use their wisdom to try to know the circumstances of God. Therefore, in the end, they boast of their wisdom as if they knew it without even knowing it. This is not following Christ, but following one's own desires. Regarding this, the Bible says, “The time is coming when people will not receive sound doctrine, but having itching ears they will accumulate many teachers to suit their own desires, and will turn away from the truth and listen to myths” (2 Timothy 4:3-4). I am prophesying.
Paul, a minister of Christ Jesus, said of this, “While I was dwelling among you, I was weak, fearful, and terrified. but in the power of God. But we speak wisdom among the perfect, not the wisdom of this world, nor the wisdom of the rulers of this world, which are perishing, but the wisdom of God in mysteries, which is hidden. But God foreordained it for our glory, before the ages, and not one ruler of this generation has known this wisdom. Had he known, he would not have crucified the Lord of glory” (1 Corinthians 2:3-8). I am proving it unequivocally.
He confirms again, “We speak these things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but by the Holy Spirit, for spiritual things are discerned” (1 Corinthians 2:13).
Therefore, as it is written, "...I tell you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say, Jesus is Lord, except by the Holy Spirit" (1 Corinthians 12:3). ) as evidenced, to say that Jesus is Lord and not by the Holy Spirit is a lie.
Therefore, to those who say by the Spirit to give Jesus, “Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13), but to those who say to me, “Lord, Lord,” not by the Spirit but by the lust of the flesh. Not everyone who says “Lord” will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only those who do the will of my Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 7:21).
